If Italy doesn’t usually have big presales or isn’t big on superhero’s in general why would the flash be any different? The last Batman movie only made 10m in Italy. I know other superhero movies have done well in the past there but I’d assume people will probably wait to get reviews for this. I’m not even expecting the huge presales some are in North America when tickets go on sale on Tuesday, I think people will wait for reviews.

Since everyone has been giving social media reactions after screenings I assume that will still be allowed but I don’t think full review embargo’s will drop till after the world premier if they have one.

I have too much emotional baggage from past DC movies to believe those numbers can happen lol. But I sincerely hope it does fall in a range over 100m. I also have no idea why they’re screening it again at Cannes, Indy reactions scare me from that crowd lol.

Only sharing this to emphasize the second part of the tweet how this is mainly a flash movie and not a Batman movie featuring the flash, seen a lot of comments about that leading up to this movie cause of how it’s been marketed but it’s obvious they’re just using Keaton more trying to take the focus off Ezra.

It’s father day weekend so I think both movies can do well, and maybe Indy will get better reviews once more critics see it?

Sneider also said they’re casting an Asian or Latin actor for Blitz for Legacy he wasn’t sure about the character but Rocha told him it’s probably Jenny Blitz from the flashpoint timeline who’s associated with deathstroke.

Sneider was saying that apparently Gunn and Cooper talked on the guardians press tour but it may not work out cause Cooper is staring in a Spielberg movie and their may be a schedule conflicts cause Spielberg films when he wants to film obviously. Sneider was saying Cooper was looking for a “pay day film” to re-establish himself in a main stream movie. He could just be talking out of his ass though. He also said that Hoult may have just been the prototype of what they wanted for Lex but Gunn was willing to rework the script a bit to make it work for Cooper cause he’s older.

Edited this post. It almost sounds like Bradley Cooper will be Lex if timing works out for filming. We’ll see what happens.

If I had to guess opening weekend numbers before presales start I’d expect somewhere in the range of 75-90m and maybe if wom is really good it could push 100m.

I guess cause there’s a Batman in this movie sales could be decent but I’d be surprised if they were huge. Hope I’m wrong though.

I don’t need an apologize tbh, you’re entitled to your opinion and if someone is annoying me in general I just try to skip over their posts or ignore them. My posts before were more in general towards many people in this thread and that I’ve seen online on twitter. I can just already see how this is going to play out when the movie comes out. But I lived through BvS so I can’t imagine this will be worse. Also, the only real issue I have is people saying how this has been touted as the best comic book ever when that isn’t the case. Sure people have been saying it’s really good and fun and may be the best DCEU movie ever but what does that really mean when so many of these movies have been hated by critics and audiences .

Personally I’ve never read anything about standing ovations at test screenings but I’m not gonna argue about that point. With respects the other points, who really cares? So what if they said the movie was received really well? They said that about Batman also, no one called this the best superhero movie ever so you guys should stop with that garbage already, you’re just as bad as so called scoopers and leakers saying stuff that was never said, it’s just so annoying already.

Just for the record, no one ever said this was the best comic book movie ever. Test screening scores we’re supposedly the highest since TDK, it was never stated it’s the best comic book movie ever. Zaslav who has probably watched 2 comic book movies his whole life said it was the best cbm “he’s seen”, and Gunn said it was one of the best and since he just revealed his top 5 last week and this wasn’t included that should answer that. Let’s not also forget we’ve had a whole lot of comic book movies made so even if this movie fell into his(or your) top 15 that’s still pretty good.

I’d be shocked with something over 80 just cause of Ezra’s personal life situation. People may think that won’t have an impact but it definitely will.

It’s already terrible leading up to the release, I can only imagine when it opens and gets like a 74 on RT, gonna be insufferable on here and twitter.

Ya, it’s obvious he saw this cause of his connection to Andy. People just want this movie to fail so bad, I get not liking Miller and I get not looking forward to the movie but I don’t get how king benefits at all from this. Like you said, he would just stay quiet if he didn’t enjoy it. I’m sure lots of people have seen it now and didn’t like it. Just read some of the quotes on his post, big yikes, I think this movie is gonna have a rough time with critics.

Can’t really see Cruise or King being shills for WB (for what reason?)but I don’t really care either way tbh. It will be interesting to see what critics and audiences think of the movie.

I mean of course there’s some desperation, with marketing they would have spent easily 300m now on the movie so they obviously want to position the movie in the most positive way possible. And what’s better then positive wom? They’re obviously confident in the movie, it tested well, they showed it months in advance. But with all that said, it doesn’t really mean much cause maybe critics won’t like it and maybe audiences don’t want to give the movie a chance? I guess we’ll see soon.
