Luckily so far after Endgame, Marvel always dated their mid/disaster flick followed by their hit films. So at least it’s not a total disaster like turd after turd after turd like what other universes did back then.
Eternals followed by No Way HomeAnt man followed by GotG 3
And now The Marvels will be followed by Deadpool 3 which is likely to be a super hit. Then Captain America 4 will likely end the phase 5 with a whimper…. (Based on leak quality and reshoots)
The phase five on quality graph will look at this.
Mid then hit then mid then hit then mid again. Truly fitting to represent the phase which put the franchise on life support.

What WB does right now to Aquaman is absolutely the best thing they could have done if they 100% knew what a turd this movie will be.
- Staying in the best month possible for movies, with all the holidays and legs will help it most.
- Not putting any single marketing campaign this far out to reduce the P&A cost also reducing possible controversy and bad publicity.
- Not delaying it further to maximize the December spot and give enough time to DC reboot.
- Quiet and silent about this to make people forget this exists and WB can just get over with DCEU

This is going to be a bigger flop than TLM. Never thought about that in a million years.

Funny fact (from Bibo @newbie BO buff)
Straight-to-DVD movie about Megalodon (or kinda mockbuster) called Black Demon released here last week and successfully managed more than 90k admissions. On Wednesday, The Meg 2 released and that movie dropped like a rock from the cliff.
Guess many casuals mistook it as the Meg 2…- 2

I'm hearing thar the drops for MI are putting 600M in question. And we could potentially be losing Aquaman this year?
But meanwhile Barbie crossing 700M should be a big possibility. And is there now a chance Oppenheimer could get there too?
Let me know what you guys think.
Oppenheimer no. MI7 also no.

Hunger games will flop and will be non factor for this. I mean the gap from og series is 8 years!!! non of the original cast coming back and the book was just released in 2020. I also don't think it's already as iconic as the novel trilogy. Also no one cares about the history of Hunger Games and it's not unique anymore. The reason why Hunger Games og was successful because it was unique the way they combined the games, politics and dystopian city story. It also consisted of fan favorite character that people become attached. This one has none of that. Feels like cash grab.
So yeah, I think Marvels will have a clear runway path to the holidays season.
Dune 2 will probably move and if it doesn't, I don't think it will hurt too much cause Marvels opens after it not before it so legs will be fine.
Hunger Games will flop.
Napoleon will be too segmented and bring different audience (old people).
Trolls and Wish are counterprogramming and the audience won't overlap (both pg rating).
The real test will be Wonka which will be almost a month after in holiday season where movies can coexist perfectly.

Yeah, it’s weird that they put this type of plot and heavy theme in a Barbie movie. This won’t please everyone. But OMG everything else is perfect. The way Greta packs and shows it in her direction style is exquisite. Fun tone, funny and dark jokes remind me of Deadpool jokes, the acting are top notch, Characters are funny and unique Also songs and dance are catchy!!! Everyone’s getting a slander in this movie 💀💀. Margot Robbie slays 💅🏻!! hilariously fun (almost like a parody) satirical movie!!!
Top tier of 2023 for sure!

I must say, he's a god sent to this short press tour. All the other actors and actresses seem more like introverts and then you have RDJ just adding some spice lol.
Movie too somber so Nolan decided to add RDJ into the mix to avoid it having memorial vibes

It would be awesome to see RDJ get nominated. But more than that, I hope he will work with Nolan in the future too. Maybe he can be the lead guy in a Nolan movie soon.
Hopefully. But if RDJ actually won the Oscar with this, I would be okay. Winning an Oscar in a Nolan movie. What more could you ask for!!!! I hope more he will continue and complete the trilogy of Sherlock Holmes tho.

My third most anticipated MCU movies this year!!!! Not that it means anything… ha. I don’t really like the first one. Okay movie but forgettable. Hopefully this can be better!!! Glad they do a team up movie on this one cause I like MCU team up movies more than the solo ones. GotG trilogy, Avengers series, Civil War and NWH are up there on my list of MCU

Anyways…. #RDJsweeps for Oscar Supporting Actor!!!! (Hasn’t seen the film yet but I’ll always root him to win an Oscar at least once in his career).

I hate Dunkirk. Dull, boring, some overlong scenes, little dialogue (made me yawn). The 3-way plot that Nolan was using when the scene jump from plot to plot to plot over and over again kinda threw me off from the movie. But the scenes when all that different plots combined into each other and created one coherent story were refreshing and satisfying at least. Gonna give it that.
