  1. Finding Nemo did. I loved movies as a child, and I loved math. This was the best of both worlds.
  2. I didn't tell anyone about because I thought they would make fun of me. I kept it to myself and my family. I talked about later on in high school, though, and people actually thought it was cool.I watched Doogal when it was on Encore.
  3. February Bone: Vernal Equinox - B- A fun and entertaining animated film, introducing us to a new world with big potential for storytelling. Tyler Perry's Madea's Valentine - D These films have an audience. I am no part of it. Unbalanced - C- (Sorry Hiccup) The film tries hard to creep out audiences (it sometimes works, too.) but some of the stories lack the payoff that the suspense would lead you to believe. It's a step up from most modern horror movies, but it still didn't do much for me. Pokemon: Rise Of The Rockets - B Now this is how you make a Pokemon movie! I kind of wanted Gary Oak to be more cocky as he was in the anime, but the film still makes for a fun and exciting adventure for all ages. Forever Yours - C Like Unbalanced, it's a step up from most films of its genre, even though it doesn't quite hit the spot. The film has good performances, but it follows many common romantic plot devices. Six Souls 3D - F A textbook example of "so bad, it's hilarious." Army Of Two - C+ It's breezy and fun, with a more developed plod than most blockbusters. The acting is kind of "eh", though. Phone Conversations With Mother - B- Even with a main character who I didn't always root for, Phone Conversations is a well acted and well written comedy that should do the trick for most audiences. City Of Darkness - C Save some really cool fight scenes, this is a pretty generic and cliched action film, though it will certainly please some.
  4. That's all good. The plot is definitely different from the when you first read it, but you can give it a second look when you make your top 25.Main differences-The love triangle is cut out.-Ezen's betrayal and Alex's parents are also cut.-Welan dies slightly differently, and the scene is given more emotion.
  5. 1. The Master2. Les Miserables3. Django Unchained4. Argo5. Lincoln6. Life Of Pi7. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey8. Zero Dark Thirty9. Beasts Of The Southern Wild10. Moonrise Kingdom
  6. January Call Me Maybe - F Hey, I just saw this, and it is crazy, but everthing sucks, Matt Reeves betrayed me. The Homestarmy Invades - B- As a childhood fan of the Homestar Runner cartoons, this film was a fun little nostalgia trip for me. I won't appeal to everyone, but I enjoyed it. Maz3 3D - F Nothing justifies the existence of this movie. Sasquatch 3D - D- Not even the target audience will really remember this. The Immune - C+ For a lazy weekend in January, this Ryan Gosling action film won't cure the season blues, (ba-dum ching) but it's generally serviceable. A Stark Knight - B- This hilarious farce is sure to please Batman fans and general audiences alike. It's not quite "The Muppets," but James Bobin does a nice job here. I had a great time. Columbine - C The film tries to imitate a mix of Chronicle and United 93 in tackling the high school tragedy. However, the film suffers from a weak script, as well as an overload of pathos for the characters. Also, this is the kind of film that should give unknowns the chance to shine. I recognized everyone in this. Lady Gaga: Born This Way 3D - C+ A fairly standard pop star concert/documentary. It's decently made, but only big Gaga fans will really get into it.
  7. I'll start doing some reviews (I'll review everything by month) tonight or tommorow, considering how most films are pretty much done.
  8. Thanks for proving me right. <( <)Could we get Part 2 up tomorrow or Monday?
  9. There were children at my Moonrise Kingdom showing. I wonder if some kids liked the style of Fantastic Mr. Fox.
  10. Summer brings us exciting blockbusters, and a few solid indies too.The fall brings us not as many big films, but that's when the oscar hitters really come in.What's your favorite season for movies?
  11. I think the only films we're waiting on are Sylvarius, First In The Nation, Uncharted, and Rebel Prince.Numbers has kept us updated, so I'll suspect that he'll get his films done. I don't know about the other two, though.
  12. Thanks. I'm actually doing a playthrough now, so the plot will be fresh in my mind.
  13. We can collaborate on the inFamous film, if you want.
  14. I'm also considering an InFamous film for Y5.
  15. On the bright side, both films opening next week will make more on Friday than whatever's #1 this week.

  18. Minor change, but can you set Spark's theater count at 3,918?
  19. Etched out one more filler. I seem to have an obsesssion with releasing a film every other week for certain periods.
  20. Jane & Tony Genre: Drama Theaters: 2,287 Date: July 11th Cast: Natalie Portman (Jane Woodward), Tommy Lee Jones (Tony) Rating: PG-13 Runtime: 116min (1hr, 56min) Budget: $10m Jane Woodward was always a true friend, and she id an incredible student in middle school. Everyone liked her because she was a truly good person. However, things change when her parents are killed in a car accident caused by a drunk driver, Tony. While being sentenced to a 15 year sentence as a result of his crimes, a lot has changed since then. The emotional trauma that Jane had to face was overbearing. When she was in college, her grades began to drop, and she turned to drugs, soon dropping out of school. She now lives in a small apartment building with her six year old son, Noah. She is currently single, as she had gotten a divorce from her past boyfriend. Tony has felt devastated for killing the girl's parents ever since the crime happened. 15 years ago, he was aggresive and stupid, and he has truly changed a lot since those days. In an attempt to apologize for the crime he had committed, he goes to visit Jane in her apartment. When he arrives, Jane recognizes who the man is after he confesses what he had done. She yells at him to leave, angrily asserted that he ruined her life. However, Tony tells her that she wants to set things right, right before Jane is about to call the police. He brings her to let her and Noah live at his house, which is a bit nicer than where she is living now. Throughout the rest of the film, Tony and Jane try to fix their lives up from the hole that he put both of them in, growing a friendship for each other as well. Both are able to find love, find jobs, and for the first time in nearly two decades, find happiness. Even with the occasional fight, the two stay close together. Tony soon has a heart attack, and is unable to recover. Jane feels sorry for him, feeling as if he had repaid the debt that was owed for over 15 years. He ruined her life, but he also managed to fix it. At the end, Jane becomes a whole new woman. He life is back on track, and she goes on to live the life that she had dreamed of as a child.
  21. Nirvana, The Last Six, and maybe COD seem like the most likely to make 300m.Of course, It wouldn't be a shame if Spark also was such a success....
  22. My big films each year are usually an OC and an animated film. I'll have Psychonauts and Finality for Y5.For Y6, I'll do a different animated adaption of Romeo & Juliet (This time, it won't suck) and The Boy In The Watchtower, a sci-fi drama about a man forced away from his only job for his entire life, now able to truly live.
