  1. Even if JL has 4, I’m willing to bet if DH2 and OE have two screens they’ll lose one. And with some holdovers like Jigsaw and smaller movies I don’t see it to be likely for Thor to have under 2 screens.
  2. http://www.boxofficemojo.com/daily/chart/?sortdate=2006-11-09&track=borat.htm In 2006, last time VD was on Saturday had jumps as well for Thursday.
  3. I’m willing to bet Wonder and The Star share a screen. DH2 will likely get the short end of the stick due to The Star, Wonder, Thor and JL attracting families and lose a screen or share a screen with someone.
  4. That’s assuming without a Thursday jump which after further research seems unlikely.
  5. The only two premiers are JL and Coco but this drop is worrisome. DS calculations give it a $42.12M second weekend. However this is assuming no Thursday jump.
  6. My thoughts the same. Throw in Bohemian Rhaspody and Animated Spider-Man.
  7. So I watched the newest episode of South Park today, and had it not been for the return of political humor, it’d be a good episode.
  8. I think I’ll watch Wilderpeople tonight.
  9. I’m kind of impressed with Sony making the effort to get Spacey Out of the movie.
  10. What? Kevin thinking JL won’t reach $1B. Shocking with no bias at all.
  11. Geostorm is a real fun movie in a corny way. I liked Thor better but I liked Geostorm too.
  12. People didn’t get off work here for the election in 2016. Maybe the east coast did but that’s about it.
  13. I’d imagine more would focus on voting rather than moviegoing.
  14. The governor was only for a few states for each respective state. The Presidential election was for all states.
  15. Still, Strange was for electing the PRESIDENT. Thor was for a few Governors.
  16. Thor 2 Monday was Vet Day and Strange had the presidential election.
  17. Perfect. Now it’s time to panic when the Wednesday numbers come.
