  1. Still that $18M budget will work wonders for SPA. I'm surprised now that they keep their budgets between $50M (like Peter Rabbit and Emoji) to $65M (like HT3), and even have an outsourced one under $20M. SPA can keep having $150M-$250M performers and break even. However given The Star and Underpants sub $40M budget, could WAG's 6/1/18 film be CGI with a budget under $40M due to outsourcing. For The Star I can see anywhere between $50M-$150M.
  2. How much is the question. I don't think that 2019 spot is any good for it.
  3. I can see Panther being the MCU's highest grossing movie domestically outside of Guardians 2/Avengers ensembles/Iron Man 3 for a while.
  4. Still it can do CU numbers and be a massive success. Also thanks to @newbie BO buff, BOP's early projection for this is thinking $25M/$110M
  5. I think my DC Super Hero Girls as WAG's June 1st 2018 prediction might be correct.
  6. Odds are we'll get a Thor and JL trailers released online, and maybe an Aquaman first look like SS and WW before it. Others I don't think will be released online.
  7. Also Peter Rabbit is budgeted at $50M and HT3 is at $65M. So much for the end of SPA right @Jonwo.
  8. Emoji is budgeted at $50M and The Star is surprisingly budgeted at $18M.
  9. Apparently this is budgeted at $18M. http://www.thewrap.com/how-sony-lstar-movie-finance-deal-fell-apart-flops-ghostbusters-feet-desk/
  10. This is also true. Still with $19.9M the $300M train is still running thanks to July weekdays and the likely double whammy of Emoji and Dark Tower helping.
  11. If Wednesday falls about 30% from Tuesday we get $5.2M and using a 15% drop, we get $4.4M. If we use a light 40% increase, Homecoming scores a $6.16M Friday, then we use the typical 30% increase for Saturday, we get $8M, and with a normal 25% drop, we get $6M. So about $20.16M. If we used the exact same drops from last weekend, Homecoming gets $21M
  12. However it wouldn't be the first time we've had 5 $20M movies in the top 5, it happened exactly last year with STB, Pets, LO, IA5, and GB.
  13. I'm wondering if GV3 can get an Avenger style bump after IW.
  14. Also @That One Guy will be happy to know that most of the bigger Marcus Cinemas with two PLF screens will be having Valerian and some of which in 3D. Also Girls Trip is getting some PLFS too.
  15. I think WW2 is obviously the June 2020 spot as well. I think it could have a GV2 increase depending on competition.
