  2. Top 25: It has been a great year y'all. October-December reviews and predictions, I will drop sometime tomorrow evening. This was a great year (even though it took as a minute to get there at the end - we still did it! ), and everyone bought their A-game. Here's to another ten years.
  3. Honorable Mentions: These group of films are films I had a fun reading experience with and really liked these films but just had something missing to make the top 25, be that execution or something missing.
  4. Dishonorable Mentions: Sometimes, a film doesn't come out right, which is not of fault of our talented writers here as we all make misfires. These ten films are sadly the weakest of the year, listed below in alphabetical order.
  5. It has been great year of movies from everyone this year, and it is honor to continue this game with friends old and new over the years in this game. Without further ado, it is time for us to start the fire - a celebration of ten game years with this year's top 25. Dishonorable Mentions and Honorable Mentions dropping within the next 5-10 minutes:
  6. 2 more films to read. Top 25 then Oct-Dec reviews tomorrow.
  7. The subplot about McKenna Grace’s character forming a friendship/romance with a ghost that hasn't found peace seems interesting.
  8. Honestly think the future for the franchise is animation. If you want to refit it as a family franchise - mainstream animation is not only is it a good place to start but odds are you could make it the funniest installment given the right team since the first or maybe even funnier since the first.
  9. This is true. Men in Black does the action comedy far better.
  10. @cayommagazine Mamoudou Athie (Elemental, Jurassic World: Dominion) has just signed onto the cast of Endless Animation’s The Storyteller as the enigmatic and delightfully eccentric Lukas Libreros, the lead of the feature film. Athie’s character is inspired by Willy Wonka and The Cat in the Hat, being able to warp reality itself when using his storytelling abilities. Quinta Brunson (Abbott Elementary) and Libe Barer (Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur) have also signed onto the cast in undisclosed roles. As production and more details on the film will come within the next month, The Storyteller is written and directed by the Academy Award winning Aphton Corbin (Endless Animation’s Matilda and the Night Children, Pixar’s TwentySomething) with Shakira Presley helping co-write the script. The Storyteller is set to release May 21st, Y11.

  15. Honestly, Ghostbusters is just past its time. The franchise is supposed to be a comedy that pivoted into nostalgia porn because your average 40 year old couldn't let go of Ecto Cooler and fun Halloween costumes in conjunction with unfunny installments, making a franchise no one really cares about.

  17. @cayommagazine Infinite Studios has begun production on a new musical comedy, Showstopper. Written and directed by comedic visionary and Academy Award winning songwriter Seth MacFarlane (ted, The Orville, Family Guy), Showstopper tells the story of Alicia (Renee Rapp (Mean Girls, The Sex Life of College Girls), an aspirational Broadway understudy is sadly always the second best to someone else and never gets her chance to shine. However, Alicia's hopes and dreams of stardom may just be granted when an accident uncovers a gift not even Alicia knew: psionic abilities. So, what does a gal do with these strange abilities, cement herself on the top of the musical world - even if it means playing rough with the competition. After all - for great power, you need great irresponsibility. Fuzzy Door Productions will produce the film with longtime collaborator Walter Murphy (ted, The Orville, Family Guy) scoring the film, with Seth MacFarlane teaming up with the Lopezes (The Book of Mormon, Frozen, Coco) to write the songs. Showstopper releases in theaters, March 12th, Y11 around the Easter corridor, with audiences in the vicinity got a first look during this Thanksgiving's Let's Eat Dad.
