  1. Mouse Hunt Infinite Studios Release Date: 10/16/Y10 Genre: Documentary Director: John-Paul Davidson Rating: PG-13 Budget: $10m Theater Count: 2,423 Format: 2D Runtime: 110 minutes Plot Summary:1971 words Sources:
  2. @Hiccup23 You could move Ping to July 3rd vs July 10th. The Furby Movie, another animated family film opens that same weekend Ping is on but a Fourth of July opener could use a family film. July 31st is an option as the Wii movies aren’t that big, and July 24th has GLC3, which even though it’s likely going to be the biggest opener of Y10, it’s a PG-13 action blockbuster and not direct competition. August 7th is an option too but you’d face Titania’s Journey next week.
  3. @MCKillswitch123 I’m moving The Second Water War to 11/6 to allow more breathing room between it and Bones.
  4. Nice! Do you want IMAX or PLFs for the film too?
  5. I think Lightyear being a boring slog was the key reason why OW crumbled with WOM being pretty mediocre for both kids and families, and less so because of a brief gay moment that happens for like 30 seconds. Lightyear was a concept that did have intrigue but that was due to interest of the concept itself rather than interest of the film, it happens to a lot of blockbuster. KFP4 had record trailer views for Dreamworks and it might not even open to 50m.
  6. It’s Sunday today. Do you still need a bit more time, because you could turn it in today or tomorrow.
  7. Post Pandemic, The only animations to have a 20x multiplier over even 15x+ were largely younger skewing films outside of summer. KFP4 will skew older due to being a sequel and being familiar IP. 10-12x should be the range.
  8. Sweet Tooth Infinite Studios Release Date: 9/25/Y10 Genre: Horror Director: Adam Robitel Rating: R Budget: $10m Theater Count: 2,785 Format: 2D Runtime: 110 minutes Cast: Dave Bautista as The Dentist The rest of the cast are unknowns Plot: Fiore, is a young woman who is anxious about her annual cleaning is forced to go a new dental office for the procedure. As soon as she is put under, she wakes up in a dungeon with a group of other people, like Erika - who went to get her braces fixed, Mick, a cantankerous old man whose dentures are faulty and the loving couple of Tim and Tammy who have great gums and are proud in it. Fiore finds out the dungeon is built like an escape room, and finds an exit only to find themselves in a disturbing maze. The group learns they’re being held captive by The Dentist (Dave Bautista), a maniacal dentist/serial killer obsessed with creating the perfect set of teeth - aiming to ripe out their teeth and gums to craft them. The group works together at first to make it through the maze but one by one each fall victim to The Dentist’s various traps and his attacks. (Mick gets his gums ripped out by meat cleaver, Tim gets his jaw ripped off by pliers, Tammy gets her head chopped off by The Dentist by attempting to sacrifice the others to save herself, and Erika and Fiore get close to the exit but Erika is killed by nitrous overexposure). Fiore confronts The Dentist but although he physically outmatches, sprays soda in his mouth causing The Dentist to freak out - violently brushing his teeth, flossing until he pulls sections of his mouth out and then bleeding out and dies. Fiore escapes and makes it out alive, happy the incident is behind her.

  13. Wakanda Forever, though it lost its lead and likely would've fell anyways without or with a Bosman replacement or not did about 450m/860m. Think the issues of The Marvels had was less so men were alienated and not enough women came through but a death of a thousand cuts (poor reviews and poor audience WOM, bad market campaign, having two Disney+ leads with much smaller popularity, a lot of mediocre MCU projects beforehand diluted the brand of the MCU, a loud fringe section that really has it out for Brie Larson for some reason). I don’t think it or even Madame Web died because they had female leads but they just didn’t measure up. Pretty sure if not for COVID, the demand was definitely there for Black Widow as that did 150M on PA.
  14. All I'm saying is give us a Madisynn x Wong rom-com and the MCU gets the first 4B film
  15. I'm pretty interested in 2 Joker 2 Furious. The musical aspect and Gaga Harley are both interesting to me even if I think the first one sucks, let them go crazy with that 200M budget. Imagine a lot of it is for the musical sequences and set pieces.
  16. Maybe this one will actually be good and not just whatever Scorsese movie Todd Phillips tries to ape.
  17. Kang is always a loser, but his gimmick is he comes back harder and stronger. Tbh hope they still continue with the storyline but I think they should've done an Avengers at the end of Phase 4 - have him be the main villain but lose to his own arrogance but in Phase 5-6, he works his way into various spaces of the MCU gaining power through other crime and alliance and then in Dynasty, he actually becomes a threat the heroes are ill-equipped for. Like Kang helps the heroes against his Council for power but then it backfires for the heroes with Kang betraying them.
  18. Feel like shifting from Kang without a plan in motion would already further cap the DCEU vibes MCU has been having for a minute.
