  1. I remember when it had a December 2023 release date, that seemed unrealistic even before the strike.
  2. I think Marvel Studios will fast track X-Men for 2026, The idea that if The Marvels bombed we won't have no more Marvel films ever again is frankly dumb.
  3. It's honestly insane that Zemeckis did that to Crispin Glover rather than recasting especially when you consider they recast the role of Jennifer due to Claudia Wells having to drop out.
  4. Foreign films and I include British and Australian films in that aren't affected by SAG being on strike.
  5. TBH people won't stop watching films or TV shows and as I keep pointing out, the rest of the world is still making films and TV. It's like suggesting concert films and recording of theatre will kill live entertainment.
  6. Surely compensations and permission for the estates of deceased actors should be standard? I think the studios will have to back down on not consulting because that wouldn't be allowed.
  7. Honestly, the famous actors will be back with the execs at parties, that's not even something that'll ever go away. I think with AI regulations coming in laws, the studios will likely give in either way.
  8. I've always liked the premise of the franchise although I want to see Suzanne Collins write about the origins of Panem and the war that is mentioned in the book much like how The new Planet of the Apes films explored the origins of how the Apes took over Earth.
  9. Honestly I think cinemas should pad out their schedules with a few global releases, we've seen foreign films perform well in recent times. I think The Lion King will get a rerelease although I suspect with it being the 30th anniversary, it was on the cards. The 3D rerelease in 2011 was very successful.
  10. TBH I think if Governments are wary of AI then I can't see it being used to replace actors by studios.
  11. I know pessimism is the name of the game but cinemas won't be shut down by next year. People forget that other countries have film and TV industries that are still producing content. In terms of actors, it does surprise me that we haven't seen more bigger names do theatre during this time but I'm guessing it's too risky in case the SAG strike ended and they turned down a bigger project.
  12. TBH you'd probably want Hollywood to collapse so you could post about it.
  13. That's just hyperbole. We're not going to see cinemas close down.
  14. No doubt the Eeyores will be saying Hollywood will collapse....
  15. SAG have already got into bother over being too strict with their guidance so I think it won't be closed anytime soon.
  16. TBH SAG had to keep pointing out when WGA were picketing the Network Code shows like DWTS that their members had to coming to work and they couldn't protect them if they didn't.
  17. WB has really gone out promoting the film in the UK with tie-ins with the likes of Aldi, Kinder and sponsoring the ice rink and tree at Westfield and that's just with what I've seen in the last fews. Keep in mind the film isn't out for another month,
  18. Given there isn't a follow up book to The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, I wonder if Lionsgate is willing to wait for Suzanne Collins or collaborate with her? Have to admit, I wouldn't seeing the rise of Alma Coin.
  19. Is 8 Pages for Ignored Users too much? Asking for a friend....
  20. Funny how whenever there is a sniff negative news, the BOT's Eeyores always pop up.
  21. Elio likely won't move, Disney aren't going to push Pixar titles from June to unfavourable months like September.
