  1. Personally, I really enjoyed the film (I am not religious anymore) and still do. If you are a Christian, I highly recommend it. There is a lot of touching scenes.

  3. Who would have thought Elemental and Sound of Freedom would be the most interesting films to follow over the summer? Oh course Barbie and Spider-Man: Across the Universe were always going to be interesting but Elemental's legs and SK run and SoF's domestic run are just so interesting.
  4. Do we think this will stay flat this weekend? It increased to $4.4M yesterday and it will definitely make more today than the $3.7M it did last Thursday.
  5. Yes, MI is taking screens/theaters away from other films.
  6. Yes sub $60M would be disastrous....like really really bad.
  7. Room 131 is basically finished. I just wanna do a few touch ups on it. I am also touching up Giovanni. Both should be up with a few weeks given my schedule (looking for a new job and moving to a new city!!) @SLAM! I will let you know when I will post them. Sorry for making posts in the thread. I totally didn't read the roles and got excited to drop my stuff It has been a minute and I am excited to get back into this game

  10. Just got out of a showing for this. I really enjoyed it, I would say it is a little long and probably could have shaved off 10-15 minutes off the run time. Audience enjoyed it and there were applause at the end. 8.5/10 I think this will play well over the summer and families will eat it up. Marketing did this film really dirty.
  11. I am so happy this movie was a hit and surpassed Evil Dead (2013) when adjusted for inflation.
  12. I will be seated for this. The opening shots in the trailer are "chef's kiss"
  13. Just watched this again on streaming. It holds up pretty well and is still entertaining.
  14. @cayommagazine Studio hinted that a main character from the Poison and Wine Trilogy will appear in Room 131. Stressed the role will be minor but shocking. When asked about the Poison and Wine tie in films, the studio said Giovanni (post production), Room 131 (post production), and a third film (in pre-production and rumored to have the Daniels in the director’s chair) In Another Life are all planned. When asked about Christmas Again, the studio said it doesn’t really take place in the same universe but they aren’t ruling anything out. Christmas Again is still in development hell. The studio seemed like they want to release the 3 tie in films and complete the two planned Shaun David Hutchinson films: We Are the Ants and At the Edge of the Universe. Both these films will have more GA and awards appeal rather than the Poison and Win tie in films.
  15. I think it looks very possible for Evil Dead Rise will out gross Evil Dead (2013)'s adjusted for inflation number ($61.2M) which would be amazing!
  16. I haven't seen a Marvel movie since Endgame so I am always lost during these trailers. Looks okay but why do the visuals look off?
