    You are salty cause it's another Jackson production that is getting meh response. hey, I wished he made LOTR-level or Heavenly Creatures-level movies post-LOTR but he went full Lucas so I have no control over that. ME looks awful and if they had confidence, they would have screened it like Sony did Spiderverse and lift embargo.

    Big drop. I think that Fox fudged numbers yesterday and gave some BR dollars to Widows. there's absolutely no reason why that movie of all movies would have enormous increase. I expect more fudging today. watch Widows somehow have the best drop. So transparent. PTA is still awful, Fox. We see you. I hope they won't cheat BR of potential 200M just to prop the failed Oscar bait.

    it happens that Nth Spiderman adaptation offers something new - never-seen before type of animation, new Spiderman, characters from Spiderverse never used in movies (Noir, Ham, Peni) also, ME isn't even faithful to the source. They took the concept from the surface and turned the story that's pretty fucked up considering its psycho monster heroine into a standard YA romance with some action and blandly pretty heroine (sporting beautifying scar to make her appealingly edgy). it deserves to get run over by Spiderverse.

    why is this Xmas movie released in November? December looks pretty empty and there's no reason for counter-programming to run from Episode IX.

    30M OW is not happening with Spiderverse poised to draw the same audience. And that one is already selling plus early tracking has it between 35-40M OW so it'll likely go higher. There won't be 50M and 30M openers, more likely 50M and 15M.

    Ok, that's just one guy's opinion. maybe all those prosthetic strike him as caricatures? As for Amy, since critics are heavily pushing for Regina King win, we'll have to wait for televised awards to see if they go with Amy.

    IMO, the biggest problem here is Hooper. I don't think he has it in him. Like, this should be by someone who understands it's a bonkers concept and run away with it. Hooper couldn't get something as straightforward as Les Mis right.

    this. people should put things into perspective. this is a spin-off to a collapsed franchise so expectations should be reasonably low.

    This was always going to happen. they are not gonna give up on GOTG characters and universe and eevrything can be successfully directed by different directors. Lets hope Gun course corrects SS franchise and Knight continues GOTG glory cause that's a win for us.

    Not just that but late surprises coming for the wigs. Emily Blunt coming for Actress Wig, and Spiderverse coming for Animated one.

    B- should be fresh. It isn't even a middle (that would C+). It's a positive just not a rave.
