    That said, it's true studios aren't so desperate if they are dragging this out.


    also fact is we went from zirp to insanely high rates. Debt is now very expensive and WGA and SAG want massive Covid inflation wage boosts. Reality is recession is going to come and people are going to cut costs. Not a great time to take on massive amounts of crippling debt.

    And I say this as one who doesn't like Dune all THAT much...so I could be wrong.  It's harder to predict stuff you don't love.

    that’s some of it. But the Republican Party is more homophobic, racist, crazy, and stupid than ever. I mean come on I don’t even like DeSantis and trumpers hate the guy. It’s not even a real party and democrats went too far left too quickly. Politics has devolved quickly in the US, turning the country into Idiocracy.

    It's possible but is it reasonable? Incredibles 2 only managed 2.6x its first 5 and that's with summer days. Frozen 2 hit 2.9x but it had Thanksgiving and Christmas to help. 


    im just gonna say it. 450m domestic would be INCREDIBLE. More is just icing on the cake
