  1. ohhh here we go. We know from Deadline breakdown the OW was fueled by 18-34 demo at 70%...now will other people show up who knows.
  2. in other news House of Gucci did €508k, should clear at least €1.5m =$1.7m OW. A Star is Born opened to $2.0m in 2018. With the holidays maybe it can reach $4m total, not really sure though....
  3. https://people.com/movies/tom-holland-talks-plans-after-spider-man-family/ "I've spent the last six years being so focused on my career," Holland says. "I want to take a break and focus on starting a family and figuring out what I want to do outside of this world."
  4. woha amazing covid considered this looks very good with the holidays ahead.. Infinity War was "just" 1.7m. I expected like 2 million best case.
  5. great to see they're giving people 3 days off and then impose a semi lockdown. Why not doing it 2 weeks ago..I guess the gov didn't want to give more stimulus checks & support. Whoever can afford it will fly out of UK for the holidays, bye peasants.
  6. So opening day / previews No way Home 2.4 Endgame 2.6 TFA 2.0 The Last Jedi 2.3 given the 3 PM starting time it's great.
  7. Who could have thought in 2014,2015,2016 with all the doom and gloom, toxic reactions for the third reboot, "who needs Spider-man" (read Homecoming's thread here on Bot) that third movie of the trilogy will almost certainly walk out with a 200 million opening. TAMS2 did 202 million domestic. Unbelivable. (ignoring doing it during a pandemic). I strongly believed in Homecoming and I loved that movie. I had the feeling with time more and more people would join in, they needed a push thanks to Infinity War and Endgame I guess.
  8. "Who says people love to stay home and stream movies?" You??? $50m great to see officially.
  9. It's a weird market and usually frontloaded, but I have a feeling thanks to a mix of wom, lack of competition and for many it's probably the first movie they'll be watching in theatres since the start of the pandemic it might have a great run.
  10. It doesn't mean anything but after two days of fans rush tonight is absolutely packed where I'm checking.
  11. Homecoming ended its run with 30m pounds lol
  12. Spider-man €1.5m Gucci €226k It's playing closer to Infinity War. Friday and Saturday should be higher, maybe reaching 2 million. No Way Home 1. €3.050 2. €1.503 Endgame: 1. €5.167 2. €3.848 3. €2.633 4. €2.683 5. €2.658 Infinity War: 1. €2.944m 2. €1.011m 3. €1.241m 4. €1.729m 5. €2.028m
  13. I forgot we used to have the Fandango Pulse thing.
  14. yes. It's a weird market but there's no big release until Matrix which is January 1. Diabolik, House of Gucci are being relegated to the smalled screens and they arent selling much.
  15. For a working day it was hard to expect more. TLK Harry Potter were during the summer, Endgame and the italian ones were holidays/January 1. Infinity War like EG was released on a national holiday April 25th.
  16. All the 3 movies of the trilogy will have at least a 85% RT and around 70 on Metacritic, given how Iron Man or Star Wars lost their way it's impressive. I remember the doubts and cheap shots before Homecoming was released. If you read back its thread it was so toxic. Even more impressive thinking the state of the franchise after TASM2.
