  1. A solid -20% drop for Rogue One as it's total notches up $40,000,000. In comparison, TFA dropped -37% in its 3rd week. So it is holding very well but yet again the calendar configuration may skew the numbers in a certain way. TFA's 4th week drop was -41% so it'll be interesting to see if Rogue One can better that. If it does than i'm confident that it'll reach $50,000,000 Very close battle between Sing and Moana as both of them move ahead of Rogue One in daily numbers from Tuesday onwards. Sing stands at $14,210,000 whilst Moana follows with $12,160,000.
  2. TOP 10 HIGHEST GROSSING MOVIES OF 2016 IN AUSTRALIA 1. Finding Dory $48,514,220 2. Deadpool $43,266,237 3. Suicide Squad $34,260,519 4. Captain America: Civil War $33,718,474 5. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story $33,656,594 ** 6. Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them $30,934,789 ** 7. The Jungle Book $29,727,827 8. Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice $29,677,073 9. The Secret Life Of Pets $29,541,145 10. Zootopia $28,052,120 Rogue One should push for top spot but it'll be fairly close with Finding Dory
  3. 1. Star Wars: Episode VIII 2. War for the Planet of the Apes 3. Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 4. Dunkirk 5. Alien: Covenant 6. Blade Runner 2049 7. Spider-Man: Homecoming 8. Beauty and the Beast 9. Split 10. Kong: Skull Island
  4. I've done some calculations to try and project Rogue One's final gross By using TFA's weekly drops from here on, I've come up with a total between 49-50 million. So hopefully it can push over the $50,000,000

  6. That gives Rogue One about a ~70% drop, i'm no expert on what exactly the Aussie box office is like around this time but I feel that its quite a harsh drop. What I do know is that it will have a very strong upcoming week
  7. Australia More specifically the most liveable city in the world for the 6th year running and the sporting capital of the world, MELBOURNE!
  8. I joined these forums to simply see discussions of numbers, predictions, patterns and movies in general, not all of this mostly unrelated filler. However, I must admit I do enjoy seeing randoms waste so much time and energy arguing online about absolutely nothing
  9. Okay I've been on this forum for too long I need to take a break and relax... This calls for a STAR WARS MARATHON!
  10. Yeah i guess you make a valid point, there is a positive though because I can arrive 15 minutes late just in time to see the trailers and skip the annoying ads
  11. You only got 7 trailers? I've been to the movies several times this year and never have I gotten more than 3. It's usually 15 minutes of ads followed by 3 trailers
  12. I rate it 2nd at the moment, however it might fall down to 3rd or 4th after giving time to sink in 1. A New Hope 2. Rogue One 3. Empire Strikes Back 4. The Force Awakens 5. Return of the Jedi 6. Revenge of the Sith 7. The Phantom Menace 8. Attack of the Clones
  13. 1. War for the Planet of the Apes 2. Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 3. Star Wars Episode VIII 4. Passengers 5. Dunkirk 6. Beauty and the Beast 7. Spider-Man Homecoming 8. Alien: Covenant 9. Blade Runner 2049 10. The LEGO Batman Movie
