The first two prequels sucked but Revenge of the Sith is 3rd best in the series. Better than Return of the Jedi.

Just got out of Solo and it ain’t half bad. Better than Last Jedi and Rogue One. I enjoyed the light nature of it. Actors were all good especially Alden Ehrenreich surprisingly. Best visuals and sets I’ve seen in a Star Wars movie yet. 7/10 Go in with an open mind and lesser expectations and you’ll have fun. Feels like one of those 70s or 80s Sci-fi films you’ve seen but in a mostly good way. I too think Ron Howard saved it the flaws in the movie are clearly because of the production. It’s apparent. -

Just a horrid weekend. Solo is a big disappointment, DP2 had a nasty drop and IW is suffering another 50% drop. The Book Club is holding well at least.

It’s at $296.5 million WW now. It opened to a pretty solid $17.7M in China. $330M+ is where it’s heading. What a phenomenal run!

$300M+ WW OW is amazing for a rated R $110M movie.

Looks like it’s gonna finish around $425 million WW. That’s a good solid hit. A sequel could make more $$$ with better release date.

I don’t see Breaking In and Life of the Party dropping harsher than Infinity Wars next weekend. They are counter programming to Deadpool 2 while Infinity Wars is pretty much direct competition...

Solo is on pace to have record Memorial Wknd opening. But yes probably around 40% drop for the 4 day. Still don’t see 2.5x as being locked.

I don’t think 2.5x is locked at all. If it drops 50% this weekend it’ll drop at least 55% the weekend after cause of Deadpool 2 and then another drop due to Solo.

So how’s $400M looking? It was at $335M last week so it made around $43M through the week. It still has some markets to open and it does nearly 2 weeks to recover before DP2. -
Stahp exaggerating. Yea it’s terrible if you were thinking Black Panther type of legs. Compare to Marvel movies in general it’s a damn fine drop especially with an OW that huge!
