  1. I think Horn is staying retired this time after Disney brought him out of it the first time.
  2. I can see Sony going to give this to Netflix. Netflix already has a partnership with Sony and has a Resident Evil TV show on the way.
  3. Plus they already paid the talent twice. Also if they did that, you'll have directors coming out saying "Why does Dune, King Richard & Matrix get theater only releases but not my movie?".
  4. How's NYC? I saw a video of a tornado yesterday in the Bronx I believe 😳
  5. Pretty sure that's happening regardless considering Discovery's CEO is planning on making exec changes as soon as the the merger goes through next Summer. IIRC, Emmerich and Kilar are leaving at the end of this year.
  6. Yup, the guys who rewrote it have a really great show on Amazon Prime called Informer
  7. Looks like everyone is getting Patty Jenks/Gal mula https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-01-09/warner-bros-guarantees-filmmakers-a-payday-for-hbo-max-movies
  8. We need a trilogy at some point, the last time we got a trilogy from a DC character was 8 years ago. It's gonna be 20+ years at this rate
  9. I can see WB cutting a deal if they feel like they can make it up in MAX 2021 sub revenue
  10. Max's quality is based on your internet speed, TV and audio settings. It's not like Netflix where you can choose the quality based off the tier you pay for.
  11. Eh like Soderbergh said, you can't just keep delaying movies. It's just a matter of how much money do you want to lose. For some reason people think that the budget doesn't increase after each delay. If that was the case, Paramount would've held on to the movies they sold this year.
  12. Kilar dropped his own written article https://variety.com/2020/film/news/jason-kilar-warnermedia-hbo-max-theaters-2021-1234854234/
  13. He doesn't work for DC anymore so the only place they can really fire him from is Stargirl since it's a WBTV production but I doubt that happens considering that it's currently filming. My buddy is actually working on set for the show on the 17th
  14. From what i've read, Roku is the problem because they don't want to drop the HBO Channel and give Max it's own app. Then they also want a piece of HBO Max's ad revenue when the ad-tier version comes out next year.
