Max's quality is based on your internet speed, TV and audio settings. It's not like Netflix where you can choose the quality based off the tier you pay for.
Eh like Soderbergh said, you can't just keep delaying movies. It's just a matter of how much money do you want to lose. For some reason people think that the budget doesn't increase after each delay. If that was the case, Paramount would've held on to the movies they sold this year.
He doesn't work for DC anymore so the only place they can really fire him from is Stargirl since it's a WBTV production but I doubt that happens considering that it's currently filming. My buddy is actually working on set for the show on the 17th
From what i've read, Roku is the problem because they don't want to drop the HBO Channel and give Max it's own app. Then they also want a piece of HBO Max's ad revenue when the ad-tier version comes out next year.
