  1. Not to mention this lacks the visual wow-factor that made Aquaman a must-see on the big screen.
  2. I guess I'm the only one who thinks this looks incredibly stupid.
  3. These criticisms of the script are amusing. Are we suddenly pretending that all those other superhero flicks represent the pinnacle of the art of scriptwriting?
  4. Yes, please. Keep Reeves locked away in his own dull, poorly-written, derivative corner of the multiverse.
  5. What he really should resign from is that crazy-ass marriage.
  6. You know there's something deeply wrong with the Oscars when Shawn Mendes is a presenter.
  7. Thank you! After all the blather from Reeves about how he was going to craft a real mystery that concentrated on Batman's skills as a detective, imagine my disappointment when I was confronted with an utterly un-mysterious screenplay that consisted of one hideous info-dump after another and artless, heavy-handed dialogue. Has Reeves actually seen a noir classic? It was very poorly written and I'm worried that its box-office performance will simply encourage the studio to allow him free rein for the sequels. Anyway, it's not a patch on the Nolan trilogy.

  9. I'm fine with this. By all means, give James Wan time to make this as gorgeous and as eye-popping as possible.
