  1. GA reception is probably bottom tier MCU but definitely amongst the fandom can see it being appreciated alot more compared to other MCU Films. Don't think critics were out to get this film I think though the reception will soften as time goes on.
  2. Recent Batgirl leaks with the mural suggest even more that the new timeline will suggest Keaton was always the DCEU Batman. Wonder if it will mean technically Batman and Batman Returns are canon in the timeline.
  3. More like proof Feige will take over from Kathleen Kennedy am I right?
  4. The use of the words "day" and "date" made me worry for a split sec it was going on HBO Max at the same time The Batman will be fine come March still thinking O/U $140M OW. I'd like to see a more fun Batman too but what they're doing looks great so far so no complaints.
  5. Someone should check if Sing 2's DOM total decreases by $5k magically
  6. By all accounts all parties are eager to continue the Sony Marvel deal for at least another Tom Holland Spider-Man deal. Remember the reason why the talks collapsed after FFH was cause Disney wanted to negotiate for a different arrangement while Sony wanted to keep the original deal. I think Sony realises the value of Marvel with the Tom Holland side of the franchise. Now as far as what else Sony has with the Spider-Man franchise let's just say NWH could be a great launching point for other avenues.
  7. Yeah much better episode we have a proper idea of the central conflict of the present storyline while the flashbacks were more interesting. Agreed with those that unlike Mando this is way more of a connected show than the episodic nature of Mando.
  8. 10 Year Anniversary coming up for Avengers this year. Where did the time go...
  9. Kinda remarkable that it's almost 9 years since Man of Steel and it hardly feels like the DCEU has gone anywhere forward.
  10. Wanda will be the 2nd lead but it is Doctor Strange's movie and he'll be the POV character through all the multiverse shenanigans. But yes they need to be careful in handling her character with the balance between good and evil. I just hope my man Wong has something good to do.
  11. There's no point in resetting the timeline to negate the Snyder Films. I understand that the Batman situation is weird one because their most popular character is getting a new iteration but the shared universe which is supposed to help support the other DC heroes won't have access to him. So rather than trying to get the GA on board with another Batman they plucked Keaton's Batman since he is pre-established. Superman again it's an odd one where we really don't know what's going on with Cavill and WB so instead they want to use Supergirl which is fine (although recasting shouldn't be something they dismiss). None of this requires resetting the timeline though. They literally can just say Keaton and Supergirl got transferred to another universe like what happened to the legacy characters in NWH. I do think overall we are closer to the end of this current version of the DCEU than the beginning. I can see them do a full reboot via say a Crisis on Infinite Earths event on film and then from the group up redo Superman and the JL.
  12. Was worried with the pandemic it would get a bit forgotten but hopefully it has staying power like Moana on Disney+
  13. Other than Avatar sequels I'm certain WB is mulling a Harry Potter sequel which would challenge $2B and Avengers 5 would too I believe. Other than that yeah hard to think anything else that gross in that region.
  14. Someone made this comparison that essentially the Homecoming Trilogy is the "Smallville" for this Spider-Man. Anyhow finally some spoiler interviews
  15. It was alright probably though the weakest start of the Disney+ Star Wars shows so far however.
  16. I wish we have gotten alot more spoiler interviews with Jon Watts, Feige, Pascal and McKenna & Sommers about this movie which is something I really appreciated the Russo Brothers and Markus & McFeely doing for Infinity War and especially Endgame. Maybe in a couple of weeks once they're comfortable revealing more about the movie.
  17. Awesome to see masters of film making put out of their best works late in their careers. This one is movie magic

  19. Same I feel any nostalgia of the Jurassic Park franchise coming back was maximised with Jurassic World. The human cast coming back is a good addition so I do see a slight increase but only slightly.
  20. Idk go back to before presales started you had alot of people here skeptical NWH would even do around say $400M DOM or that $1 Billion was locked. Dune and GvK are very good results but I'd say films like Shang-Chi, NTTD or F9 are comparable to their successes. Nothing is comparable to NWH.
