If they were to reveal T&A should have been done either 2nd trailer or when tickets went on sale. Spider-Man 2 still remains the best live action Spidey film but I forgot that Doc Ock really isn't in the film that much. Not a bad thing though when everything regarding Peter's life is compelling. I've also gotten around to MJ alot more as a character.

Please don't let this be a Lego Movie 2 situation. I don't think it will though I don't expect a massive increase at the box office. Would be happy with $500M WW. Hopefully will continue to see more and more shows/films use CGI but in a way that tries to emulate a 2D look. Thinking like Arcane and even apparently the future Avatar: The Last Airbender tv shows will try to do that.

Well can't wait to see certain other characters appear very soon. Really love the choice of Echo as an antagonist both contrasting with Kate and Clint. Taking the more grounded and "human" approach is welcome with addressing Ronin rather than brushing it aside. Probably the only weak point so far in the show is the drama with Kate's family

Yeah I definitely take some what I said back about the two trailers (as trailers I still personally meh on them) but definitely it shows the GA is all in on the multiverse aspect and the promise of T&A. In hindsight it's probably better for WOM they are not in the trailer so there are no expectations about what their roles are besides being in the movie. You put them in the trailer confirming them then the question becomes how big their roles are which the movie may disappoint in.

To be clear I think Turning Red will remain theatrical my thinking of whether it would go to Disney+ was more of a response to calling Encanto disappointment after one day of sales. I would hope Disney is realistic with themselves that family going films still need more time to get back to prepandemic levels. Encanto's performance as long as it's around the 40M-50M 5 Day Mark is fine enough.

We'll see what Disney thinks about Encanto's performance by seeing if they decide to change Turning Red's release plan. I think we're still in recovery mode in the sense audiences are alot more picker to choose which movies to come to the cinemas and especially families. Disney for the past 18 months has been fine with their animated films debuting on Disney+ and with Encanto only having 30 days before Disney+ I can see some families feeling fine to wait. Now if it was Frozen 3 then sure different story but not all BO successes should be blockbuster sequels.

Glad they released the first two episodes cause the first one didn't have enough Clint for me but episode 2 is where the show finds a good balance of humour and fun. It is a bit of a cheat code to have Hailee Steinfield in your project as well. And really happy the stakes aren't anything greater than what the trailer suggest so far.
