  1. Yep Moana, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Frozen 2 and Raya don't really have main villains. I prefer that though than the twist villains they were previously doing as it really only worked for me in Wreck it Ralph.
  2. Encanto getting Moana level Tuesday previews would be pretty good right? I'll be honest I kinda wrote its performance off seeing how animated films have done this year.
  3. Ghostbusters numbers look good to me. Happy for No Time to Die taking the crown for the biggest Hollywood movie during this pandemic. The DOM Performance really is a bit of an outlier compared to the rest of the world.
  4. Haven't seen her in anything but she has the look for the character which is great. Oh she's an Aussie too which is a bonus! I would have been alright with Tiya Sicar but I'm glad they went with someone of Asian decent as well. Sabine appearing means this probably has the show take place after the Rebels finale then.
  5. Yeah Dune did better than expected or at least met the high end of expectations. Eternals underperformed but will do alright all things considered.
  6. February 21 Minari March 6 Raya and the Last Dragon 7 Nomadland 25 Godzilla vs Kong April 1 Godzilla vs Kong 24 Mortal Kombat May 27 A Quiet Place Part II June 20 Fast 9 July 3 In The Heights 8 Black Widow October 30 Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings November 6 Eternals 13 No Time To Die 18 Last Night In Soho
  7. Eternals will be appreciated more just by virtue of the MCU continuing the stories and characters (whether on Disney+ or other movies/sequels).
  8. I'm sure Disney/Marvel wanted this movie to explode in China but from the very day this was announced I always thought it was more a play for the Asian audience within Western Countries as opposed to Asian countries.
  9. I'd say we're still in the WDAS Revival Era. Thought Raya casting issues aside was pretty great. Hope this one is just as good or even better.
  10. I liked it for the most part but it does struggle with the ending. Incredibly stylish but I did wish some of the CGI in the horror sequences was minimized a bit. But overall had a fun time and Edgar Wright is in complete control here.
  11. The one bad thing about this movie is that it means we're highly unlikely going to see MCU interpretations of these characters. Some of them that's fine but I really would have been curious of an MCU Norman Osborn.
  12. We'll see i think if Sony chills out and doesn't try to keep having Spider-Man movies every two years we can see Tom Holland stay on for awhile. Doing one every two years is unsustainable in the long run.
  13. I think as in that we've had so many movies with Peter in high school that there's not much more to tell about his experience as a teenager. Though I think the MCU slightly dropped the ball with that after Homecoming since FFH was basically him on vacation and now this movie has nothing to do with him being a teenage or in high school. It's also why the Spider-Man game resonated with so many was being able to experience a seasoned Peter Parker as Spider-Man.
  14. The more I see the more I'm excited for this show. I've been a bit mixed on the MCU Disney+ shows with WandaVision being the clear standout for me but both FATWS and Loki have regressed in my liking the more I've thought about those shows What If was fun enough but not enough to stand out.
  15. Initial reception outside here is pretty good so yeah don't think this trailer will stop the hype. Idk though the tone of Homecoming and FFH not sure it'll match with this "epic" story they're doing in this one. And it's from someone who really enjoys those films.
  16. Well this does confirm some stuff I read which is great because those leaks are the only thing keeping me from thinking that this will be a hot mess.
