  1. I know Endgame had its fair share of leaks but thank goodness it wasn't to this extent. Or maybe I cared more about avoiding spoilers back then compared to this movie.
  2. Actually was refreshing he didn't change his mind and join at the last sec to save the day.
  3. The portrayal of the Celestials made me confident in an eventual Galactus interpretation. Goodbye cloud figures!!
  4. We literally had Shang-Chi open in worse conditions with lower trailer/tv spot views and lower presales but will still end up outdoing Eternals DOM. There's no real excuse for Eternals to have a lower OW than Shang-Chi besides the reviews.
  5. It was tracking to be in line with Black Widow's Previews but the expectation was the Weekend Multiplier was going to be better since Eternals didn't have PA affecting it. But yes poor reviews clearly affected the OW which in a way is good as it means Marvel knows they still need to make a good movie (in most critics opinion even though I actually liked Eternals quite a bit). It especially matters more when you're introducing unknown heroes. Still will probably cross $400M WW which is a decent result but the DOM performance at least is going to be a bit disappointing unless it bucks the CinemaScore and has good legs.
  6. Yeah NWH is the first film in a long time that would have been locked to hit $1 Billion in pre-COVID times. So maybe we might see if that does bonkers that audiences are just becoming more picker and safer with their choices as opposed to avoiding the cinema altogether.
  7. Feige would rather rework than discard so even if this ends up having awful legs we will see a continuation of the story. I'll also like Chloe Zhao to come back as well. Hopefully the script is a bit tighter next time.
  8. On one hand genuinely happy that I quite enjoyed but also a bit frustrated that this could have been great. Everything was good for me but because there's so much packed in there isn't enough time devoted to each character or relationship to really have that emotional impact. Still definitely a solid entry in the MCU and one of the better offerings of Phase 4 so far.
  9. Yikes that's bad but yeah it's been weird since looking online the reception hasn't been that bad but doesn't bode well.
  10. In 5 years time I'll have this exact same reaction for an MCU movie and say ''Initial Reaction Top 20 MCU" (including Disney+ shows in rankings)
  11. Still going through Star Trek: TOS which is still amazing. Also rewatching the Marvel Netflix shows since I never finished Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones. Daredevil S1 and Jessica Jones S1 are as good as I remember but man I don't remember Daredevil S2 being as big of a slog as I currently find it.
  12. No it's because the % studios get from China's BO is much less than in other territories.
  13. The underworld aspects of Star Wars has always been fascinating though so if Boba Fett is a vehicle for more or that then I will be happy.
  14. Yeah looking back at 2019 how I was going to cinemas nearly every week I can't imagine myself doing that now even if there was no pandemic. Maybe I've just gotten lazier but the pandemic certainly will have imbedded that mindset into a decent amount of people.
  15. February 21 Minari March 6 Raya and the Last Dragon 7 Nomadland 25 Godzilla vs Kong April 1 Godzilla vs Kong 24 Mortal Kombat May 27 A Quiet Place Part II June 20 Fast 9 July 3 In The Heights 8 Black Widow October 30 Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
