The Village Bride felt like Miyazaki in a Star Wars setting. Fantastic story that sorta has been done a bit before but executed well. As I understand The Ninth Jedi was made very much in mind where it could potentially take place in the timeline so I'd actually love to see more episodes based on this story cause it introduced some very cool concepts and storylines which aren't wrapped up by the episode's end.

Yeah agreed I can see the 2nd trailer showcasing alot more of the villains roles in the film and then your final shot is of Tobey, Andrew and Tom if the first two are in it. I decided to not really worry too much about spoilers for this movie and what I read so far that is rumoured actually has alleviate a decent amount of my fears for this film so hopefully the 2nd trailer confirms some of it. Also while the GA may not be fully dialled into the conversation about whether Tobey and Andrew are in this one part of the hype that seeing Doc Ock generated is the implication that at least Tobey may make an appearance so it would make sense to fulfil that promise in the 2nd trailer. This is ofc assuming they have decent roles in the film and not glorified cameos.

Yeah it does feel inevitable this will underperform which say what you want about the Star Wars prequels or the Hobbit movies but they were amongst the biggest movies in their era. The problem with all the Grindelwald and Dumbledore stuff is they skipped over the part people probably were interested in the most which is the era they actually worked together and the turn where their relationship breaks down.

Alright so far I've seen The Duel and Tatoonie Rhapsody. Loved The Duel felt liked it was ripped straight out of a Kurosawa film (I've only seen Seven Samurai and The Hidden Fortress). Tatoonie Rhapsody will probably be more divisive among fans but really enjoyed it and it honestly wouldn't be that out of place with canon. So far I've noticed both episodes do a really good job of the stories recognizably taking place in the Star Wars universe as I was only worried that the show would just be a bunch of fantasy stories that bear no resemblance to Star Wars except the title but nope no one can mistake they both clearly are in the Star Wars universe. EDIT: I also watched them subbed only and only plan to watch the English dub once I've seen all the episodes

Simu Liu could easily deny he made those comments if they weren't true. Regardless this won't cost him is job but should be another lesson to regarding social media that I'm sure will come up unfortunately in future for people in fame (unfortunate that comments like these will be made just to be clear). An apology to those who felt hurt by his comments isn't too much to ask I don't think regardless if he had addressed them already or not.
