  1. I actually liked the start of the trailer with the film dealing with the ramifications of the ending of FFH but really not feeling how they are tying Dr Strange into it with Peter's wish. Hopefully it works much better in the film but again I really just wish this was a straight up FFH sequel without the other baggage.
  2. February 21 Minari March 6 Raya and the Last Dragon 7 Nomadland 25 Godzilla vs Kong April 1 Godzilla vs Kong 24 Mortal Kombat May 27 A Quiet Place Part II June 20 Fast 9 July 3 In The Heights 8 Black Widow
  3. Sad but more time to watch all 24 other Bond films I suppose. Just finished Roger Moore's run of films.
  4. I agree that the Captain Carter one was ok but this one was great. Partly I think due to the array of characters this episode had access too while the amount of MCU characters in the Captain Carter episode was a bit limited due to the time period and how they wrote it.
  5. The trailer does a really good job of explaining who the Eternals are and tying it to previous events in the MCU will help the casual fans. I also feel timing is a tad weird but this will play in front of Shang Chi which is good.
  6. Glad to see positive reception. I must admit with the recent lockdowns I kinda have lost interest in movies in general so would be a great return to movie fandom.
  7. Hopefully Victoria's lockdown is finished by September but NSW will be closed for a long time. A shame cause think Shang Chi would have done quite well here
  8. I'll agree and said while the second half alot of the episodes individually I enjoy the show did feel like it was spinning its wheels after Omega was rescued from Cad Bane. But the final three episodes brought the show back to the main story so overall I still think this season is the best start to an animated show out of TCW, Rebels and Resistance. My main improvements for next season is more development for Tech, Wrecker and especially Echo who had very little to do this season. That's something Rebels did very well with the Ghost Crew.
  9. No surprise but glad it's coming out next year. Don't like waiting for more than a year between seasons.
  10. Have to say this year has gone way quicker than 2020 did. Both have its positives and negatives.
  11. Maybe it's just me but I feel Disney have made quite a number of dumb decisions since Chapek took over.
  12. It does feel unfortunately the immediate future is bleaker than what we hoped. Compare the mood now to when A Quiet Place Part II opened back in May.
  13. I think this does a great job of selling the movie to causal audiences if maybe the actual film isn't quite as crowd pleasing as the trailer suggests. In comparison to the marketing for BR2049 which was much more secretive and relied on the first one as well.
  14. The plot of this movie is Ethan Hunt infiltrating every major British sporting event. Just waiting for Tom Cruise to ring the bell at Lords in the 2nd Test between England and India.
  15. Rewatched the Bourne films over the week reminded how great of a series it is. Even The Bourne Legacy and Jason Bourne have some merit to them.
  16. I agree is going to happen but I'm just saying inevitable either one of them will drown the other in the online discourse which usually the MCU dominates. Eventually we'll see MCU properties fighting each other for attention which may affect WOM.
  17. I do think Marvel will try to not have their Disney+ shows release the same time as their movies again as MCU fans tend to just move on to the next thing especially with how well received Loki has been. PA hasn't affected legs previously but perhaps there's a ceiling to how movies can do with PA as Raya and Cruella didn't have particularly high opening weekends. Then again this conversation may not be had if it was say Doctor Strange 2 a movie that has much more clear ramifications for Phase 4 than Black Widow.
  18. Makes me wonder how much WB has really squandered the branding of Looney Tunes in the past 20 or so years.. I can't imagine if Disney ever did another Roger Rabbit/Space Jam type movie with Mickey Mouse and co it would have results this low.
