  1. Love how this show is carrying the tone from the end of TCW. Out of the Disney era animation is where Star Wars has been the darkest.
  2. It's repetitive but again I have to emphasise how gorgeous this show looks even compared to S7 of TCW. I really love how seriously Lucasfilm takes their animation stories. I don't know if any other CGI show can compete with how great The Bad Batch looks. It just makes it even more funny whenever I finish an episode and Disney+ is recommending S1 of TCW cause the contrast is even more stark.
  3. Happy it seems Abrams isn't directing this one and the multiverse concept allows this to be its own thing. Not that surprised tbh that it seems they're sticking with Kal-El (though wonder if he will still be Clark Kent on earth).
  4. They work much better in an animation setting than in live action. I just really want to see how the Republic slowly transforms to the Empire aesthetic and hopefully we can see what happened to all the tech the Separatists had.
  5. I mean in context this is Feige pitching it to Disney execs who probably are as risk averse as any. Can't blame him for having to dumb it down lol.
  6. Still think it's a bit odd we don't know the episode count for this season. Hopefully the info comes out once the first episode premieres and we get interviews from Filoni and co.
  7. Harrison Ford will be fine if they actually plan filming this soon. Interviews and media presence has never been his strong suit. Out of his famous characters he's always been the most open to revisiting Indy.
  8. Movie overall was mediocre but still glad I went to the cinema just to hear how everyone was enjoying themselves over anything Kano said or did. Really expected more hardcore violent action honestly but I'll be the first to admit I know nothing about Mortal Kombat so I'd be down for more sequels with the origin stories out of the way.
  9. Dang Marvel must have been really happy with the numbers Falcon and Winter Soldier have been doing to greenlit a movie. I assume as well this is theatrical too. I've already made it known how much I really enjoyed the show so this is good news to me though I would have preferred a Season 2. @Cap Dreams do come true huh
  10. Really solid finale Will think about it more but overall I'm really happy with this show carrying on Cap's legacy and I do think overall I probably will rewatch this more than WandaVision
  11. Every interview I've seen with Simu Liu the guy is extremely likeable and oozes charisma and can be extremely funny. Pretty much ticks all the boxes of a Marvel leading man.
  12. Pretty solid teaser with Marvel selling this movie mostly on the martial arts aspect of the movie. Though the clip Simu Liu posted awhile back showcasing his fighting got me more intrigued. BO wise I don't expect any significant boost in Asia just because of an Asian lead as if Asia is one big monolith. I do expect a decent boost in Western countries though ala Crazy Rich Asians. Hard for me to gauge how this will do without seeing Black Widow but atm probably $700M-$800M
  13. Yeah don't want to jinx anything with the finale but this show further shows the Cap series as the strongest in the MCU.
  14. I mean Indy is still one of the most iconic heroes in pop culture. It'll do well BO wise. Quality wise who knows but I trust Mangold.
  15. Henry Jackman's score has been one of the best parts of this show. I think I like it the best out of his other MCU scores so far.
  16. All I'll say is I think the GvK numbers indicate Disney may have overreacted with some of their recent decisions regarding Black Widow and Luca. And it's saying something that cinemas are happy to play WB movies that are simultaneously releasing on HBO Max but are holding out on Disney PA. I'm sure something will be worked out for Black Widow and the rest of the MCU slate but other Disney films with PA be interesting to see if the boycott continues.
  17. Was a smart 4th trailer by resuing alot of footage from previous MCU films and anytime the Avengers theme appears its awesome. Hopefully once the TV spots starts hitting then it'll be evident the July release is sticking.
