Raya show times anecdotally have been very lacking compared to Demon Slayer. Could be though a last minute update though.

I don't think it'll do that well in China unfortunately but Disney Animation traditionally does well in Japan so hopefully this one continues the trend.

It seems the only way for a Superman film to get made was to give carte blanche to the film makers like Matt Reeves. In that sense I think it's better than leaving Superman in limbo while waiting for either WB or someone else to have faith in Cavill's version. Just have this be its separate thing or maybe connect to the Matt Reeves Batman if you want.

Raya still isn't listed on Village Cinemas for me so may have to also find a Hoyts one.

Be curious whether or not they change Clark Kent's race or it's a different character. They did use the word "reboot" to describe The Suicide Squad when it clearly is a sequel but this one seems at least more definite that it will not continue Cavill's Superman which is a bummer IMO. Not against a POC for Superman but I do think there's plenty other POC characters in the DC pantheon I would rather see before changing Superman. They already squandered Cyborg for starters. Abrams is producing but I suspect he'll end up directing which I'm kinda over him overseeing franchises like make something original dude.

Will be interesting where they put Loki then as it supposedly was going to start releasing in May as well. Good to finally have a release date. Edit: Nvm saw Loki is June. Still though there's gonns be some overlap with their releases

I have to admit my hype died down a little with the marketing but hearing reactions so far is good.

Glad I had a chance to watch this in cinemas

The video of Sasha finding out was heart-warming. As if it wasn't clear already how this film does and ir received will determine much of the future of the DCEU

I do hope Elfman keeps the Doctor Strange theme or at least revamps it like he did with Ultron. Marvel has been much better at musical continuity these days so would like to see it continue.

At least this will make some people shut up about citing Mando as evidence of a "civil war" in Lucasfilm now that the show is against their agenda. It's all the same team folks.

Don't see Whedon getting any major work after this. I remain a huge fan of his work (Buffy is Top 3 Show for me) but the stories about Charisma Carpenter on Angel never sat right so glad more people finally know what happened.

I think this show will be the most accessible to casuals though I personally think the biggest MCU show will be Loki.
