Happy for Watchmen and delighted What We Do In The Shadows got in as Nest Comedy. Disappointed there was no nominations for Mr Robot.

Movies: Decide to watch Apocalypse Now for the first time since I had watched The Godfather Trilogy just and already love it even more than the Godfather films. Unflinching in its depiction of war and the craziness and horror of it had me thinking for a long time afterwards. Will try to watch the Hearts of Darkness documentary at a later date. 10/10 TV Shows: Umbrella Academy Season 1: Mostly pretty good with half the ensemble I really like with the other half feeling a bit indifferent about. For those that have watched the first season they can probably guess which characters are in which half. 7.5/10 Arrested Development Season 5: Final episode was actually a good summary of what the show is but the season as a whole was a step back from S4 which already was a big step back from S1-S3. Hope they leave the show for good now 5.5/10

I am glad though we're going back to more original films. I enjoyed Ralph Breaks the Internet and actually prefer Frozen 2 over the first one but the resurgence came from consistently great original films.

Nolan who?

No studio is gonna think about launching a movie on a streaming service that's not available in most countries.

Yeah I don't see much of a decrease for Dominion from Fallen Kingdom since reception seems pretty decent by the GA. Spider-Man 3 is the other contender with that December release date.

Time to see how an MCU Film does in Christmas

Well with Avatar 2 gone Jurassic World: Dominion becomes front runner for highest grossing film of 2021. Though with the constant schedule changes we're gonna see plenty of 2021 films move.

Disney should finally use this opportunity to move a Marvel movie to December.

And here I was excited for actual news on the movie

Watched The Godfather Trilogy for the first time.

Well as long as they do away with the idea of Metropolis and Gotham being sister cities like in BvS then that's fine. Seeing as the Nolan films already had the "realistic" take on Batman down pat I would like to also see something more stylised too for Gotham.

Hope they have a part for Liam Neeson as Qui-Gon would be communicating with Ob-Wan. Will be interesting if they take him off-world as well. I wouldn't be against it if the lesson being that Obi-Wan realises he cannot do it again or even better will not do it again.

My guess is that the success for Season 7 has perhaps accelerated the timeline for production on this show especially if they're gonna use the same animation style they have some of the assets built already.

Well we still have a couple of years to catch up to 2023 which is where the MCU timeline is atm.

Shows: Agents of Shield Season 7: 8/10 Almost halfway through the season and the show hasn't been this entertaining since the first half of Season 5. Hope the 2nd half can stick the landing unlike Season 6. The Office Season 5: 8/10 Not much to say other than the show hasn't let up in quality since Season 3. Arrested Development Season 4/5: 5/10 Rewatch of Season 4 hasn't really changed my opinion of the season. It's enjoyable but vastly inferior to Seasons 1-3 except the GOB episodes. Season 5 has been a drag so far with exceptions such as Maeby's storyline. Movies: Blackkklansman: 9/10 First Spike Lee film I've watched and this was a great one. Can't wait to see John Washington in Tenet now. Da 5 Bloods: 8/10 A bit more uneven and would have liked to see more focus on the whole ensemble bit still a powerful watch.

Loved Gotham for what is it was but it certainly will not be what the new show will be about hopefully.

Crossover with Jurassic World

Yeah was the most obvious route they were going.

Would like to move to Sydney to watch but as a Victorian I'm probably not welcome atm..
