im not here for some intellectual stimulation from a post modern Barbie movie , my concern is that the movie might not be that funny as its pretending to be. Like im getting the Jump street vibe from it but only 50% jokes landing.
Ryan is doing his best Johnny Bravo impression so whole thing seems like Johnny Bravo episode but for Barbie ??

Watched Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan on OTT yesterday, and its awful. There's a germ of a good movie in there but it really needed a different director with a clear vision for the story instead of the awful slop we saw.
Its a mix and match of every Bhai film ever since late 90s
the climax fight showing of him in the first trailer instantly reminded me of his one old movie (which was kinda decent for that time)

the first Friday morning show in Taiwan, the theater is almost empty. Even Marvel shows fatigue in here, DC ofc will suffer more. especially Batman 89 was never a thing here (we were with Indiana Jones and his dad) and DCEU was never a thing everywhere. This movie itself is in the wrong timeline
On preview day here a significant amount of people turned up because they were fans of CW Flash show and were acquainted by Flash IP thanks to that show.
The long run of CW Flash show has done at least some amount of favor for this movie in India.- 1

I am from the Philippines and not many people knew there were Tuesday previews for this one. Movies here normally open on a Wednesday. This kind of previews is rare. Having said that, I can't speak for the cinemascore since I'm not from the US. But my audience dug it a lot. They laughed at the funny parts and were visibly excited at the action scenes AND cameos. There weren't many people in my cinema, though. We were probably just 15 people.
They are hardcore fan audience but still encouraging response for global reception

IMDB was for white men. Twitter is for gays/girls. That's what gains traction on there. Barbie in a pink dress = Twitter catnip.
Marketing makes it look like a Ryan Gosling shitpost movie beside their few efforts like Barbie music video

Well, now we'll see if a streaming star can become a movie star
He was just on the brink of breaking out nicely with Kingsman and WW 2 role

Feels like Aquaman 2.0 to me , critics dont love it (ironic since No Way Home has similar cons they are pointing for this, its boring till other heroes pop up) but its fun for audience.
They clearly either dont like Ezra's take or love it.

They will probably gouge the price of seat next to the empty one...

I've just seen GotG (the original) for the first time. Someone really wants to go to the movies to watch part 3 with me and i thought i might as well catch up on the the first two. Let's just say i'm kinda concerned for Superman Legacy now coz that movie was such a nothingburger.
He recycled the same tropes 4 fucking times with Seqeuls/TSS/Peacemaker show 😭
- Childhood trauma for cheap emotional payoff (atleast he traded same old dad issues with loss of friend in Gotg 3)
- cute cgi pet so you know the bad guy is not entirely bad..- awkward comedy
I guess that's just his style now but nothing he has done in last 10yrs has given me assurance that he can make a truly epic Superman movie , atleast the costume designs will be good but we already had that.

Why are Marvel fans so against this movie
So i saw recently saw spiderverse 2 and..
SpoilerBoth have very similar overall story especially in the 2nd half (Flash might be even less confusing to general audience and basically conveys the same thing)

Sure, they may be "quiet" now, but so were they from 2020-2022 from when they choked a woman and then started assaulting people on Hawaii.
He has shady history since before BvS if he makes more noise who knows what more will be revealed in media circles 💀💀

The little mermaid movie especially the show is my favorite disney cartoon watched the shit out of it in early 00s, it has a special place in childhood years.
I saw what they did to the animal side characters , I have a lot of thing to say (some of them might get me thread banned) but I'd just say that as a kid who loved the original show/filmthe visuals of this film is beyond bastardized..

DUNC crossed 400M WW with covid and day and date release on HBO Max. DUNC II shouldn't have problem crossing 600M in much more favorable circumstances.
Still had strong Blu-ray sales too

This is set in New York ?
Bruh the things I've heard and seen of NYC subways is 10 times more wilder and gnarly than the original Korean movie lmao

couldn’t disagree more personally. The opening scene was essentially just another cabin in the woods
Even I'm tired of the forest setting , I'm referring more about the pacing of the scene should have continued to the whole story.
Story drags a lot even though the deadites share few cool scenes and frankly the cast don't have much to do

Or maybe you're wrong.
He wasn't this time.
This was unfortunately lacking even though it had a nice setup and setting at the start.
Whole movie should have been more like the intro scene.
