I think Jio Studios are just unlucky at BO. The performance of VV and Bhediya is an anomaly (not in a good way) , one of the few decent bollywood movies of 2022.

I think SRK should have swapped scripts with Akshay Kumar films (especially the drama ones) from the Post Teesmar Khan 2012-2018 timeline. Akshay moved on from his late 00s peak of comedy/action routine and made some very solid script choices during this time but every non-gimmicky films he did I think would have been twice as impactful/successful if you imagine SRK in his place.

HR would have been the biggest and last of its kind superstar in Bollywood (he still sort of is) if he didn't fuck up his post Krish/Kites phase. Though i think he has the most chillest film pipeline out of all khans/akshay in recent times , don't care about film's performance he just shows up, dances flawlessly takes his paycheck and pops up again after 2yrs with another action movie while others are too conscious about failure.

Saw this today for great action cinematography. Never seen any piss in boots movie but some of the lines said by characters are pretty dark for a mainstream kids cartoon film or just kids cartoon genre in general. They don't even hide it under any implications and straight up say some lines that fits in more adult films and not a movie for small kids.

It sometimes works for net positively as lot of buzz is generated from the controversy. Pathan created massive amount of passive promotion through this , just not in the way producers expected..

We were kinda bored until 3rd act but the 10/10 graphics were worth the price , the actual local WOM is nothing like an IW/FF 7 type storm but I think more inline with Jurrasic World 2015

If Gunn isn't careful he will risk dividing the Superman brand even more. I'm already not invested coz WB has clearly shown they are incompetent at producing Superman films and there's high possibility they won't have the guts to invest in the reboot 4yrs down the line if the box-office is few millions shy.

I think you're the one putting way too much stock on Gunn haha. I don't want him anywhere near writing Legacy heroes given his past record.

Gunn is a 1 trick pony since Gotg 2014 , you're low key blindsided by hope of reboot. He's no Matt Reeves. Gunn is literally recycling the same characters from a 2014 EVERYTIME with diminishing returns. But I think "real DC fans" are too busy reading comics to notice that... Literally serving y'all MCU Leftovers for a reboot.

Alright do people honestly believe Gunn can measure up to the previous creatives, that is just setting up for disappointment. If you're an actual fan you would never wanna let someone like Gunn write even a line for Legacy heroes unironically. At this point just let JJ do it lmao

Except that is LITERALLY how most of DC solos worked post JL (2 of them being more successful than most WB movies)... Only problem with that is helmed by the highly popular DC maestro of projects like TSS and peacemaker.
