How did you get "Joker 2.0" from a comment about wanting a more polished script?
Because he had comments and thoughts a whole lot more nuanced than that?

This is actually a very mixed bag for me.
Critically, this is a very good film and one can see why critics are into it. Commercially, the enjoyment level would have benefited from just a bit more action and humor. I am highly surprised that Warners allowed Reeves to make this film and release it. This is a truly adult Batman movie. Burton/Schumacher made kids Batman movies, Nolan made teen Batman movies, and now we have a true adult Batman. The cast and production values are universally good, but without question the pace is slower and more dour than it should be.
Despite its epic length, a lot of the films core feels seriously half baked. Some big points in particular:
Sounds like you kinda just want the joker 2.0

So, second best Batman movie after TDK is what I'm hearing?
Idk bro ill decide when i watch it

130m the goal 145m+ to exceed expectations imo

Of course its fair to evaluate the film in relation to the current social and political climate but "its sad times in the real world so this movie being dark is bad" doesn't actually tell anyone what you think of the film . just that the film happened to be made at the wrong time.

NWH isn't even the best Spider Man movie, i get it that the fanservices are very well done and give to audiences literally everything they want but i found so weird people thinking this is enough to make a excellent movie.
I liked the movie before anyone thinks i'm just hating it, i just can see some considerable big problems in there.
To be fair with him and coming back to the thread, i do think Robert Pattinson will be at least the best Batman, because he is a great actor and because this movie seems to really focus on him instead of let the character being overshadowed by the villains again.
I don't even trust critics after NWH anymore bro

I really don't think that's true. While occasionally there is a major critic/audience disconnect ala The Last Jedi, usually when there is a large breadth and depth of critics that are buzzing about something, in turn the GA ends up liking it as well. Especially mass entertainment like CBMs.
Now there is the TLJ example (which was mixed but still overall positive). But I've been keeping my ear out for even a whisper about a potential fan backlash (yes, I am gunshy/attuned to this sort of thing, why do you ask?) and I haven't heard a damn thing yet.
It's also the different types of critics which seem to be buzzing about this film. To put it somewhat bluntly, the "nerd critics"/"blog critics" seem to be really happy and they're the ones who are usually in-step the most with the GA that currently goes to the movies the most.
It is certainly true that we don't know for certain that the GA will love this film, or even like it. And I would agree that we don't have enough nearly enough evidence to really even say it's likely that the GA will.
But "no indication"? Can't say I agree with that. The very buzz coming from different types of folks is an indicator in and of itself, if not foolproof.
actually you right when i think about it. I can't actually think about a super hero movie that critics loved but audience didn't

Yall too worried bout a meaningless number that means absolutely nothing not only in regards to the box office, but also your personal opinion on the film. There is no indication that general audiences will like this movie

Because he's not getting cast and it's annoying people keep saying "lol Joaquamole Phoenix needs to beat up Battinson in the next one". They're from different timelines, and I don't think Joaquamole would say yes anyways. It's just irritating people keep saying they want something that will never happen.
Even if it COULD happen, should it happen? I dont think that iteration of joker would work in a batman movie

Imagine if this one is well received and has good legs. if the sequel is batman vs joker then i see a 250 mil OW
