There wasn't a trailer for solo until February. 3 months before release. Did everyone forget? There was marketing but it was lackluster in comparison to other blockbusters of this caliber. -
Im rooting for the warriors to lose, too. I want new teams in the finals. Im so sick of seeing Lebron and the warriors in the finals. it gets boring.

Im tellin ya'll the western conference finals are affecting solos ticket sales. I wouldn't miss this to see freakin' solo. 10 million people watched it on thurs. It will only increase being a Saturday. Kathleen Kennedy should use this excuse :).

How come in the review section for some movie it doesn't allow you to see who gave a movie a specific grade? For instance you can't see what grade anyone gave for SOLO. SJW's out in full force. /s

probably because of all the reshoots they did. The movie was near done when they fired the original directors. and ron howard reshot most of the movie.

The thing all the disney star wars movies have lacked in my opinion is the jedi action. The thing that makes star wars unique is the jedi abilities and especially the light sabers. The spin offs and the new episodic movies have mostly focused on space ship battles and action sequences with gun laser/blasters. Which just kind of makes it another sci fi flick. Very few lightsaber battles. Id love KOTOR series.

Well people have already down voted it like crazy on RT and for some reason the Want to see rating is factored into the audience rating. So it'll def be low. The want to see rating is in the low 30s.

You're right. I didnt even check TCL for showtimes. It will be interesting to see what this movie does domestically, because the presales are just not there. -

Yikes. so many showtimes with only a few seats sold in LA for previews. Even the first showing of this are empty in some AMC theaters. Its remarkable. There seems to be less demand at my two closest AMC theaters than there was for AQP. Obviously this movie will make more than that but those tickets were sold out for the first few showings at my local theaters the day before.
