    7.8 on maoyan is the same score as FB2 which was tracking for 45M+ debut then crashed over the weekend to 36M and ended its run with only $57M. I hope Shazam doesn't suffer the same fate

    I feel like $7M is still too high for Shazam cus the Thursday Fandango pulse looks to finish under 20k for the day

    are deadline gonna post their Shazam early Thursday estimates tonight? I'm hoping for 5M-6M for Shazam and 2M-2.4M for Pet Sematary.

    I'd be happy with $5.2M Thur/ 45M-46M OW for Shazam at this point. that would be almost 50M when you include the 3.3M from early screenings

    jesus christ the doom and gloom in r/boxoffice.. Shazam! can still hit 400M WW.

    I was hoping for Shazam to play out like a A Quiet Place (I know it's horror but both were PG 13 movies that were very well received and lived off wom and walk up friendly business, plus AQP was also released on this weekend last year 😛) but if that Wed guesstimate is true then it's already fallen way behind AQP's 10.6K Wed . still hoping for a 5.5M Thursday and 50M weekend 🙏

    @Thanos Legion at least Pet Sematary is in the top 5 here on Fandango's past 24 hours sales (in reality it's probably just the sales for last 2 hours but it's still something 🙂)

    I'm shocked at Endgame having more show times than IW despite being 34 minutes longer.. the Thursday preview number for EG is gonna be insane

    it's almost back to 60% now.. and it doesn't seem to be slowing down much, I think the only movies that will be higher than EG this weekend are Shazam, PS, Dumbo and Us. so it could stay in the top 5 imo.

    Endgame is def skewing the results, Shazam which is projected to open almost twice as much as Pet Sematary only got into the top 5 today. I don't think there's need to panic.... yet
