Funnily enough, the film is R-rated in US. Whereas in France, the film is for all audiences. We don't have the same relationship to nudity.

#Oppenheimer is a Nolan movie in all its glory. An almost epileptic trailer-like 100-per-hour montage that creates an ultra-efficient rhythm. Far from the classic biopic it is a real odyssey, where the rare silences are bursts of flavor

#Oppenheimer A film as dense and penetrating as atoms that pierce you, but at times suffocatingly abundant. Radical direction and dazzling acting from a cast whose fascinating cornerstones are #CillianMurphy and #RobertDowneyJr.

Christopher Nolan draws inspiration from "JFK" and "Lawrence of Arabia" to tell a dense and essential story; which has never been so relevant. Superb photograhy by Hoyte van Hoytema, masterful music by Ludwig Göransson. The alternation of black and white to adopt two points of view is remarkable. Cillian Murphy is grandiose in this Promethean, fascinating role. Political, committed cinema that questions our future since Year 1 of the atomic era. A hallucinatory, haunting ending. A film that everyone should see. To remember that people wanted a better world and to save humanity from having to live with dirty hands. And to remember that cinema is an art.

All I can think of now is Oppenheimer, arguably my favorite Nolan to date, right in my pantheon of films that show creation as an act of war. It's a strangely linear but ultra-mastered biopic, in addition to being a thriller. Second tweet : It's also his most dedicated film for actors with a pretty incredible cast. And which reminds us how much Robert Downey Jr knows how to play. It's amazing there.

Even more than in his previous films, Nolan adopts in #Oppenheimer a nervous and fast editing, able to make us feel the thousand procrastination of the character who destroyed the world while saving it. A Nolan 2.0 that we find ourselves loving!

A very great film, worthy of a JFK and Malcolm X #Oppenheimer

It was intense #Oppenheimer! Nolan is radical and powerful, first through sound and music. Without dead time, he turns countless dialogues into action scenes, and tackles a number of more or less personal themes for a very great moment in cinema.

Not in France.

As a Frenchman, it's always weird to constantly see your skin color debates, even for movies. Unbearable.
