Well, I was partly right, I suspected Clerks 3 had a chance at doing a number that would challenge for first, and it performed above expectations, only thing I didn’t see coming was Barbadian doing as well as it is. However, props to Justin Long, who was in the top two films at the box office yesterday.

I think there’s a non zero chance Clerks 3 hits #1 next Tuesday, considering Fathom pricing. Jay and Silent Bob Reboot did $691k on its first day of Fathom, which would be likely more than enough for first place that day.
