i've seen 9 animated movies from this year and still i can barely figure out a top 5 w/ just a general best voice acting category (and even then i'd have to start pulling from the jungle book and stuff). splitting it up is too much. even the annies don't do that and have like 40 categories.

reviews for this are just sorta a shrug. pretty much my reaction to the marketing.
i dunno, in sing is there any point to them being animals beyond it's cuter to watch animals sing THE HITS. not sure why it's even animated. it looks like someone adapted a season's worth of those ridiculous backstories they give contestants in x factor.
will just say again it's amazing how one guy invented his own random definition for a term and actually goaded you dummies into debating it. astounding. it would be like me rolling in and saying "bananas aren't fruits. fruits are round. everyone knows that. it's obvious" and people actually took me seriously enough to argue.
lol i still haven't seen blade runner cos the 16 different cuts thing always annoyed me too. (not opening the floor for people to tell me which cut is the right one. i don't care.)
you mean to tell me that one guy rolling in and pulling his own brand new definition for the term "event film" out of his ass and expecting everyone to agree w/ it hasn't persuaded you?
eh, maybe it started sincere but it's pretty obvious he's intentionally leaning into it and is just saying it to be annoying at this point. kinda boring. no conviction anymore. sad!
Whoever's forcing you to see these smaller movies you clearly have no interest in just so you can be Snarky On The Internet about them, I hope they set you free someday.
You guys will see when Ava2r comes out. it'll be twice as big, people will be tattooing their entire bodies blue, sam worthington will finally be a movie star and get Man on a Ledge: Closer 2 the Edge greenlit. huge impact.
i love cameron but i'm a total asshole for thinking aliens is at the bottom of the pile w/ his films. like it's ok. would watch everything else before it. (no, not the piranha movie, you FUCKS)
