Usually stuff like this comes out if a film tanks, why are they doing this for a film that has overwhelming praise and is beloved? Don't understand the need to release things like this now. I've always assumed Spider-Verse won't make the March release but I still see it being released in 2024. November seems realistic.

I'd bet serious money not only is the Gunnverse DOA but the new Harry Potter reboot never sees the light of day. Zaslav is just doing what he can till he sells the company next year probably to Universal.

Of course it's bigger then Rowling the difference is Zaslav isn't even bothering telling new stories with the ip.

How exactly has his management of both those properties shown any kind of improvement? He's shown to be completely tone deaf over the very REAL controversies regarding Ezra Miller and JK Rowling. What he magically thinks people are gonna tune in to Harry Potter reboot now? He's delusional a part of me wouldn't be shocked if the Harry Potter reboot never sees the light of day because he would have sold the company long before it could even start filming. He's delusional just like he was when he said that he cancelled Batgirl because it would ruin the prestige of the DC Line. When the DC Line couldn't be at its LOWEST after the performance of 3 films in a row. The dude is literal scum and everything that comes out of his mouth is full proof of why the writers are striking.

The board can, which they will if the press around Zaslav continues to be as bad as it is, and definitely if his upcoming films all underperform or bomb.

Nintendo went ham in this direct. Detective Pikachu 2, a brand new Mario 2D game and SUPER MARIO RPG REMAKE! I wonder if that box office for Mario is making Nintendo focus a lot more on Mario which I'm fine with tbh.

How many more movies have to fail before the board gives Zaslav the boot, this is three in a row that have severely underperformed.

I'd say this is perfect karma for this piece of trash Zaslav.

Also they just greenlit a Disney Jr show featuring Black Ariel so it seems Disney is pleased all things considered and is not sweating.

The only people that I've seen try to play this game are the clickbait anti woke clowns on youtube like Geeks and Gamers or Yellowflash, that are just doing all that shit for clicks. I mean assclowns that try to say including Rainbow Road in the Mario movie was it going woke alongside Peach being a hero. People like this should never have a platform, they should just be mocked and laughed at, never actually given a voice.

I didn't watch it either because The Lion King live action offended me so much I said I will not watch another Disney remake. That doesn't negate the fact that a lot of the backlash in regards to The Little Mermaid was 100% racially motivated because of bigots.

Why should bigots ever be catered to? This is the big problem, the fact that these clowns think sexuality and gender are POLITICAL issues when they're not. It's basic human rights, simple as that.

Imagine how much it will make this week if it gets back some PLE screens from The Flash bombing.

Personally I think it's well past time the US adopts a third party. The Republican party does not stand for what it once did, now it's the home of bigotry and hatred. The Democratic party has become the party of pushovers that won't ever do anything when they have power. Both parties IMO have worn out there welcome.

The Little Mermaid 100% had to do with racism man, just look at every single video that they uploaded being downvoted because they dared cast the person suited best to play Ariel and from everyone I know that has seen the movie they think Halle was the best part of the movie. So this wasn't just the assumption that the bigots were not racist, they 100% WERE.

I love this franchise and I even love this novel, but this SCREAMS bomb it's not even funny. I'd watch a movie though with Jennifer and Josh reprising their roles and going in depth prior to the epilogue. Having them go through their relationship post hijacking and post war would be very interesting seeing how they get to the epilogue.

Zaslav's failures make me happy. He's had so much egg on his face ever since he canceled Batgirl and then proceeding to disrespect animation now seeing the highest grossing films of the year are animated films.

People act as if Disney did not go through a rough patch ever. Y'all remember Disney in the early 2000's? If it wasn't for Pixar they wouldn't have had much of anything. As much as I LOVE Emperors New Groove, that flopped. Home on the Range, Chicken Little, Treasure Planet, Atlantis....like come on now. And I freaking love Treasure Planet and Atlantis and would kill for live action remakes of those films. Between Lilo and Stich and Tangled...Disney flopped a lot.

LOL and that boycott is doing so good let me tell you. Record attendance numbers despite increase ticket prices in the park. A streaming service that literally prints money on solely it being the home of all Disney animated films. Sure there theaters may not be billion dollar hits but lets not pretend they're not still excelling at everything. Avatar 2 alone made 2 billion dollars. Just because some fucking clowns want to boycott Disney and proudly wave Nazi flags, posters with homophobic or racial slurs at the entrance to Disney World doesn't mean they're doing any true harm to the Mouse.

I'd say they are pretty small though, it's just one generation. The Boomers and in maybe 5-10 years nature will take its course and their bigotry will die along with them because the upcoming generations are as "woke" by Boomer standards as you can be.
