It was pretty much universally known that HBO Max had the best quality when it came to their streaming shows then any other streaming service included Netflix. They had the best original content. Also yes the movie has already released in France and SK to name a few and it's performance there is less then Shazam!

Yet people will still say Zaslav isn't a problem with WB...

Zaslav said he'd only allow quality in theaters. That's why Batgirl was canned, so explain this "quality" Zaslav? I hope this movie bombs so that shareholders start looking at Zaslav as something holding the company back because his headlines have done nothing but tank the stock of WB.

More power to you, I can't watch that kind of movie before sleeping.

Here's the issue with Black Adam I've had from the beginning. The casting was great for the role but Black Adam is a character I'd say maybe 10% of people know about. He's Shazam's arch-villain and I suppose WB had plans to make him the big bad for the entirety of this DCEU phase despite Darkseid being right there for the taking and a far more popular big bad for the entire DC Cinematic Universe to face. Black Adam being a villain for the most part and an unknown just to me screams bad box office performance simply on the fact there's no notoriety. Asking general audience however to go watch an unknown villain facing off against a Justice Society comprising of no one of name value to anyone that did not read the comics or watch Justice League cartoon is a hard sell IMO.

My point is how is this considered "movie theater quality" if it's by many critics viewed as a shitshow when Batgirl was canned for being garbage? What makes this less garbage than Batgirl.

Zaslav hasn't done favors for WB's image...

Didn't that clown Zaslav say this was an incredible film....that's why he canned Batgirl because it wasn't movie theater quality. I'd love to know wtf from these reactions gave this clown an indication THIS was movie theater quality with a 45% RT score if that's what it gets. If this is a shitshow then Zaslav deserves it, cause he's done nothing but create a negative atmosphere about WBD. I also am looking forward to the he tries to spin The Flash.

Yeah it seems whenever this man has publicity it's overwhelmingly negative and he if he doesn't stop he may be responsible for audiences, not just talent in Hollywood turning their back on the studio. I quite frankly because of everything he's done don't want to support WB films until he is gone.

Sounds like Flash will be recasted, not for this movie obviously but the future.

Billy Eichner is just an insufferable prick and has one brand of funny and it's yelling at people on the street. If the movie starred someone like Dan Levy people would show up in droves because he's hilarious. I don't think it had anything to do with it being a LGBT film, it had to do with it starring a comedic actor that isn't funny.

The material just keep coming for WBD being a complete and utter disaster and clown show.

When Comcast buys it I can guarantee the first thing to go will be Discovery. Comcast will know what the hell they're doing to not make WB a reality TV shithole. Comcast actually cares about scripted TV.

Amazon got money to spend lol.

Listen we all know Zaslav is a piece of trash and Comcast is salivating looking at how bad he is tanking the stock price so they can purchase WBD for cheap as hell in 2024. Zaslav does not have any real plans with WBD.

I have yet to see TV Spots for a lot of the films coming this weekend.

I swear the amount of discrimination I see daily and openly in my line of work is troubling and the worst part is people now say that "it's not racist, it's being against woke culture". I overheard a convo between two workers during my lunch break today and they were discussing a film to watch for this upcoming weekend and they saw that The Woman King is getting rave reviews and dismissed it and said it's leftist propoganda at work. "The Woke Mob" at it again, paying for reviews for a movie that is gonna brainwash anyone who watches it.

I just got home and I'm seeing the Captain America New World Order movie is being bashed to high hell on social media. Calling it military propoganda and zionist. I'm so confused, what the heck did they announce at D23 for this movie?
