  3. Agreed. Right now, I'm thinking it opens around the $35-45M range, and maybe a similar multiplier to Bullet Train so long as the word of mouth is good.
  4. I've seen too many good to great films get shit scores from audiences to trust them over the critics.
  5. RT is now 78% with 27 reviews (average rating 6.3/10). Metacritic rating is 55/100 with 11 reviews.
  6. No. Prime Video bought a lot of the international rights.
  7. This is the extent of my social life, so that probably helps in my case.

  10. I know this is probably a typo, but they do look better dressed for that one.
  11. With the buzz being what it is, an opening in the $45-55M range seems like a reasonable prediction for now.
  12. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (Jan. 04) Anyone But You (Jan. 08) Wonka (Jan. 10) The Boy and the Heron (Jan. 10) Night Swim (Jan. 11) The Beekeeper (Jan. 12) The Boys in the Boat (Jan. 12) Poor Things (Jan. 13) The Boy and the Heron (Jan. 15) The Zone of Interest (Jan. 20) The End We Start From (Jan. 23) Past Lives (Jan. 25) All of Us Strangers (Jan. 27) Baghead (Jan. 28) The Iron Claw (Jan. 30) Argylle (Feb. 02) Poor Things (Feb. 05) Double Blind (Feb. 13) In the Mood for Love (Feb. 14) The Holdovers (Feb. 15) The Taste of Things (Feb. 20) Monty Python and the Holy Grail (Feb. 21) The Promised Land (Feb. 27) Dune: Part Two (Mar. 02) Lisa Frankenstein (Mar. 05) Imaginary (Mar. 08) Perfect Days (Mar. 12)
  13. Randolph's been sweeping this awards season, so it feels like a dead cert that she'll take home the Oscar. I wouldn't be too surprised to see American Fiction take Adapted Screenplay, but I don't want to say it's a lock yet; Oppenheimer might still have a shot yet.
  14. I don't want to get my hopes up yet just in case it underdelivers (fingers crossed it doesn't). I'll definitely be adjusting it later on, though, and I do think if it turns out well enough it could easily be Burton's highest-grossing film since Alice in Wonderland, even if it doesn't come within $300 million of that film's gross.
  15. I'm gonna be a little conservative in my prediction and say this grosses around the range of Miss Peregrine ($290-300M WW), but with a more even DOM/INTL split. So long as the budget's not too high, that wouldn't be that bad for this.
  16. 17. Jenna Ortega Confirms Details of ‘Beetlejuice’ Sequel Role - The Hollywood Reporter Confirms she's Lydia's daughter, says that Burton was the happiest she'd ever seen him during the production.

  20. Oh, absolutely. Universal should definitely delay it to 2026; do that and they'd probably have an easier time landing a director (or even winning back Leitch).
  21. I hated the film overall, but I really love "Electric Energy". I kinda want DeBose to sing the next Bond song now.
  22. I got 3 out of 5, which isn't too bad.
