The romance between Aladdin and Jasmine was the least interesting part of Aladdin when I watched it as a young lad. I was all about the Genie, Jafar and the Cave of Wonders, that's what made it a 'boys' Disney movie for me. Same goes for Hercules except Meg was a way more entertaining character than Jasmine but she gets nowhere near as much merch. -
It's Sumo Digital, they don't disappoint with their Sonic racing games.

Well that is the plot of the first game, there's nothing wrong with throwing in some characters from MK2 into the first game's events. Just don't make it focused on an OC when people want to see characters from the games.

That would be preferable, keep it focused on Liu, Johnny and Sonya winning the tournament.

Production is ramping up for this, we should be hearing casting news soon. God I hope that character list isn't real, no one wants to see an OC like "Cole Turner" lead an MK movie. We don't need the MK equivalent of Alice from the RE movies.

Fair point but Dumbo is still one of the more radically different remakes compared to something like Beauty and the Beast, Jungle Book or the upcoming Aladdin and Lion King. -

It's a Disney remake, it'll probably get okay to good reviews if it's repeats all the same jokes and beats as the original like Beauty and the Beast. -
Grace Randolph gives me the crazy cat lady vibes, maybe it's the camera or her makeup but she creeps me out. It doesn't help that she's also nuts.
