  1. Good. The teaser they've been putting out before family movies is terrible. I'm pretty sure it is dissuading more people from seeing the movie than it is selling the movie.
  2. West Side Story should do well, but it shouldn't take away much business from Dune. Completely different genre. I think Uncharted will blink, and Coming to America 2 will flop.
  3. STX won't be around for us to laugh at by the end of next year.
  4. Did you guys really just make >5 pages of doom and gloom over nothing? The reviews are fine lol
  5. All things considered, from the trailer, the cinematography, colors, set design, and dance choreography actually looked spot-on. The only huge problem was the bizarre art direction for the cats.
  6. How many reviews so far? Difference between total and verified looks like some review bombing going on.
  7. Easily. The fanboy wars in the Avatar 2 thread after the first teaser are going to make Endgame v. Avatar look tame
  8. I think this will do very well among the older crowd. Could be a mild success. The trailer hit all the right notes.
  9. The writing room does a great job of making sure the continuity makes sense. I also appreciate that while the movies do tie in together, many are separate enough that I can pick and choose which to go see in theaters and not feel completely lost for the big team-up films. As for the Endgame v. Avatar nonsense, a win's a win, guys.
  10. This time Waititi is to blame for pulling out, though I can't really blame him too much for pursuing greener pastures.
  11. Good for Hemsworth, though, I don't know what he would do if Marvel decides to end the Thor character.
  12. What did it cost? Akira... Well, Thor Ragnarok is one of my favorite recent MCU movies, so I hope Thor 4 retains the same amount of quality.
  13. Disney isn't a monopoly. They're the clear top dog, but there are still noteworthy competitors. If you're uncomfortable about their dominance this year in particular, they are probably just pushing their big titles this year to fatten their Disney+ catalog before launch. Universal or WB have a chance of outgrossing them next year.
