So why is Aladdin doing so well? Specifically here and Japan? Was the original animation that beloved in both territories or does it have something to do with the live action elements itself?
They most definitely value their Playstation branch over Sony Pictures and I think that's one of the biggest reasons Sony is being so tight with Spidey.
Oh shit Aladdin really got that 46th day over a million from the looks of it. Will probably tie Black Panther, Incredibles 2, and the original Avangers for most consecutive days above 1 million in the 21st century. Crazy.
I kinda figured 50m wasn't happening. At my local 24 screen Cinemark FFH sold around the same amount of tickets as TS4's first day which gives it a range around 40m.
