    So why is Aladdin doing so well? Specifically here and Japan? Was the original animation that beloved in both territories or does it have something to do with the live action elements itself?

    It has the smallest Friday on Friday drop of the three and the biggest Thursday to Friday jump.

    Oh shit Aladdin really got that 46th day over a million from the looks of it. Will probably tie Black Panther, Incredibles 2, and the original Avangers for most consecutive days above 1 million in the 21st century. Crazy.

    Sounds like Hereditary all over again lol. Word of mouth will still be fine albeit polarizing.

    I kinda figured 50m wasn't happening. At my local 24 screen Cinemark FFH sold around the same amount of tickets as TS4's first day which gives it a range around 40m.

    I think Disney cares more about getting two billion dollar hits with TS4 and Aladdin than passing Avatar with Endgame lol.

    I think Aladdin was way better than TS4 tbh. Came out of it much more content and many I know said the same.
