    Damn. SLOP2 and Aladdin are doing really good this week. Even if you assume a generous drop for both today due to TS4 I still can't see more than a 50% weekend drop for SLOP2 or 35% drop for Aladdin.

    Yesterday was Fathers day. Big drops were expected. The Monday to Monday drops are still solid for everything outside of Dark Phoenix.

    It should be able to catch up to Men In Black in dailies starting with Tuesday, and Child's Play will likely underperform enough to allow it stay in the top 3 with SLOP2 and TS4.

    Fast and Furious is on a rapid downward trajectory domestically.

    Are these increases from Friday? Seems ridiculously small for SLOP2 and Aladdin.

    I think people are really overestimating Mulan's potential in China. This is like Pikachu and Japan all over again.

    Everywhere. Frozen 2 has a November all to itself and that can't be underestimated.

    Big oof at Dark Phoenix already falling behind Rocketman for the weekend. Will likely barely even beat Godzilla for the weekend.

    No way Dark Phoenix drops only 60% lol. Thinking more like 11m for this weekend.

    Not necessarily. I'd say both skew equally heavy to adults that are just fans of Pixar and both are equally pre sale heavy.

    Sub 30m OW for MIB has to be confirmed at this point.

    Agree with you on Booksmart or deserved to smash. But Brightburn definitely got what it deserved.

    This will be at over 700m WW by next weekend.

    Thing is, I don't think any superhero video game has made a billion though lol. That would require about 16.6m in sales which hasn't been done. Spiderman was the most successful one in years and even that only sold about 9m copies (aprox 539m gross)

    You were saying it was going to have less than a 3x multiplier. That would mean it would have to only just match Solo's raw gross from this point forward which isn't going to happen. It is going to definitely exceed that. 290m is the floor at this point.

    Fridays seem to be the weakest day of the week for Aladdin. Its Sat-Sun and weekday numbers are still strong enough to carry it to 350m.

    And Dark Phoenix won't look so bad next week when we see Men In Black's tragic numbers lol.

    It easily would have. Aladdin doing as well as it currently is with all the hurdles it had shows how strong the IP is. As good as the numbers are I feel Aladdin is always going to be looked at as one of those "could have been so much bigger" films. It really had the potential to beat BatB.

    Lord have mercy. Even with all those screens lost. It is in for a monster weekend. It is beating SLOP2 and DP with tickets sold at my local 24.
