It was designed for exactly ONE media market - NYC. The idea, as Katzenberg keeps mentioning, is that people can catch up on episodes during their 15-30 minute subway commute where there is no wifi since the episodes can download to phone. It was literally designed in a bubble forgetting that the vast vast majority of people commute to work via driving where they listen to podcasts as opposed to watching stuff on their phone.

Apparently Katzenberg hasn't been on the subway for years there's been wifi since 2017:rofl:

I have them pretty equal but it makes sense. I know plenty of people who prefer each one, but I'd say IW was better liked online and among hardcore fans than EG (though both were beloved).

I personally prefer IW to Endgame, but that's like rating one 10/10 and one 9.5/10, not a huge difference. Just think the flow of IW is smoother and more tonally consistent, and the final battle in Endgame went a bit OTP for my taste in a few shots.

Damn New York numbers keep getting worse... :whosad:

It is disappointing for sure. But at the same time, they remain in excellent shape compared to most countries. This is just another proof that they are pro-active:

I can't bear to look at the numbers anymore. Just hearing the increased frequency of sirens is bad enough. Actually seeing the numbers just makes me more depressed and angry.

Dave Wasserman is one of the furthest things from a partisan hack, IMO.  Tends to make quite a few enemies on Twitter from both the left and the right, FWIW.

This is why this makes so little sense to me. This will only kill more Republicans since Blue states are not going to listen to him anyway. He can hold his rallies and spread the virus amongst his own core fanatics. Is he trying to kills his base? He can stop the international travel bans but it won't change anything since other countries will just ban Americans.

Notably, Korea actually didn't have to deal with SARS to a meaningful extent (3 cases), despite their proximity to China. I don't think prior experience with SARS is the most defining feature of the countries whose governments acted quickly and in accordance with expert advice.

Korea had MERS outbreak just a few years ago which killed quite a number of people there.

Every Western leader should be asked about this, instead of getting positive coverage for their "decisive actions":

The article is too kind in my opinion to explain this massive failure, but it is true that East Asian countries had to deal with outbreaks in recent years that didn't significantly reach Europe or America.

Hong Kong and Taiwan in particular were hit really hard during SARS so they know how bad an epidemic can get, plus they understand China 100x better than the West. They understand how dire the situation had to be for China to lockdown cities and shut industry for over a month, especially over CNY. So they acted quickly and decisively.
