this will do a lot better than some expect , but WB marketing is failing to treat this like the event it should be
I think no covid/no HBO Max and this would've been MASSIVE. I was hoping they'd delay this to March or something but alas.

Oh I’m sooo sick of this stupid narrative. POC this POC that. What the hell is he talking about?
He locked his account down but I managed to grab a screencap of this lovely interaction. The guy is a genuine moron.

I'm gonna skip this one anyway because of how bad the last film was but I read over the leaked plot. Still not a fan of what these movies are and I'll leave it at that!

Is it lack of screenings/screeners given out or do critics just not care to review it? Barely any of the major trades have reviewed it.

The sequels are all bad ranging from boring dumb to fun dumb. I hope this one goes full tilt on the stupidity and insanity.
I wish this was a feature length, dialogue-less Dino prequel set 65 million years ago.

Having listened to some of is commentary track, it has been a while.
So disappointed the Last Duel physical release has no commentary on it

“I think what it boils down to — what we’ve got today [are] the audiences who were brought up on these fucking cell phones. The millennian, [who] do not ever want to be taught anything unless you told it on the cell phone,” Scott said.
What a king lol, he's 100% completely right.

Gucci is having it's first showings in Canada on a Wednesday night instead of the usual Thursday night previews. Good for me, I can see it early but it's an interesting trend I've seen start to happen, No Time to Die and the new Resident Evil have done the same.

Got to see Unforgiven in theatres for the first time, still a breathtaking film and an all timer.
They also played a 20 minute Eastwood retrospective featurette which was nice but was also clearly made before Cry Macho because it ended by promoting his new film. I don’t know why WB decided to do this series of Eastwood rereleases months after CM came out but oh well.

No Animatrix 2 though

better camerawork yes. Better effects? Uh...
At least they use practical suits for the close ups (Goblin looks way worse now than he did in 2002) but yeah the CGI models are very dated.

New poster = trailer 2 soon? Hopefully, I'm dying to see this and I just wanna see more.

When Holland and his moronic friends laughed at cartoonish Molina, I just cringed and became really sad, the entire trailer is a personal insult. Just fuck this piece of shit anti-movie.

in my excitement in seeing the raimi boys tobey willem and al in a movie again it's nice to watch a trailer and be reminded oh right this is still a jon watts picture and will be an artless folly.
No way I'm sitting for 2 hours and 50 mins in the theatre for this. I'll wait for streaming.

LMAO that was barely even a hint at Tobey or Andrew. The general audiences are not gonna pick up on that last part at all. Maybe they really aren't in this. The Otto Octavius name thing was eye rolling and the cgi was rough. Goblin looks way worse than he did in 2002, I miss the real suit and Doc Ock deaging is inconsistent to put it mildly. The Electro mask was pretty cool though, that was a neat way to do it.

Nah at this point everyone knows that they are so far neither the posters or the teaser needed to show them to generate huge hype.Same case here....it will only affect its bo potential if they arent in the movie...
The fans and people online keeping updated on the film know. The general public probably don't, I had so many friends and family shocked at Molina being back despite him confirming it months ago. I think it would be a mistake not to show Tobey/Andrew, if it's just hinted at, it would have to be the clearest, most obvious hint ever.

What if they aren't in this and it's all just for hype.

In Canada, Cineplex (the main chain that has a near monopoly) still hasn't put up tickets. The 2nd biggest chain, Landmark put it up around 12:15 and opening night filled up in less than 5 mins.
