The opening sequence is great, classic Indy. But everything after it could have been a lot better. Mangold and the writers seemed to have phoned it in. The movie is literally carried by Ford and Mads. -
Yeah he's not even used as a proper plot device here. The writing was truly horrendous!

I'm a Batman Returns stan but the way they handled Keaton's comeback and character in this felt laughably bad. Man deserved better!

Saw a clip and I'm surprised how naive people were when they thought the CGI would be fixed before release lol. WB gonna WB. At least with Aquabro 2 it hopefully won't be a problem with Wan at helm.

It Chapter Two definitely under performed both critically and commercially given the hype from the first.

Last official promo/clip was uploaded a good two weeks ago. At least the marketing isn't in your face all the time like star war.

Man another insane drop! It seems to have got a few shows from Fast X at my local theater. I bet Disney thinks they should have released it a week early in late April.

I did see few audiences going "Wut?" with that ending. So not surprised at the Cinemascore. Infinity War got the same, at least it's not as bad as Fast X lol.

Still think this could surprise a bit if the action/adventure part delivers. Lot of zoomers I know are catching up with the franchise now, thanks Disney+.

Liked it enough, but not as much as the first. However the animation here is insane!

I'll check it out eventually and it will be a great movie for sure, but it looks too busy for me with this many Spider-Men.

Lol it falls into the trap of last Rambo/Terminator films from the reviews. Where the franchises already had a decent enough ending for most of the audiences in the previous movie. At least it looks more fun than those.

I mean this movie has no excuse to look worse than NWH and Shang-Chi which came out at the middle of the pandemic with rushed production.

Damn, this is selling out tix faster than Fast X at my nearest theater with just two showings. I'm going again tomorrow hopefully!
