    Yesterday the Japanese psycho thriller Perfect Blue was first with 107k euros at his first release ever in Italian theaters 👍

    @Issac Newton Today I had the idea to make a list of the highest grossing movies in North America adding Mexico, Central America and the Caribbeans to the gross in USA and Canada, by chance do you have the top grossing movies of the latter two regions? Just a few would be enough since I know their box office isn't very big

    Ok after some time I finally updated the first page by adjusting the introduction, the colours and spaces and also by adding the position of the various films in the ranking

    I saw that in the end There is Still Tomorrow grossed over 3 million euros here in France, very happy with the result. At the end of the month instead it's Spain and UK's turn (while in Germany it already came out but was ignored)

    3.4M opening for Kung Fu Panda 4 Previous ones grossed 17M, 12M and 8M, this one will return to higher numbers

    I didn't even remember there was a new Baby Boss movie, at least this time it wasn't candidated for the Oscars 😅

    Oppenheimer re-release added another 200k euros reaching 28.4M, enough to pass the terrible "Natale sul Nilo" in the 20th position of the official all time ranking (even if by estimates it's at about 35M...)

    From what I've read in Italy it will have a small re-release in the upcoming days (current total is 28M euros)

    After the opening weekend I thought the 200M were a done deal, are they still in play?

    Just saw C'è Ancora Domani returned on theaters for Women's day on the 8th March and grossed another 100k euros, the total is now €36.5M with 5.4M tickets sold!

    I've seen that for the first part of 2024 there are many anime re-releases, from Lupin and Captain Harlock movies to the Dragon Ball and One Piece ones, plus also Perfect Blue and some of Shinkai Hoping that they'll make some money I will update the ranking again as soon as they've all finished, without forgetting that Spy x Family is also coming out

    The author of my favourite series 😢 I'm sorry he died so early and also in the 40th anniversary of Dragon Ball, with many events and celebrations planned over the course of the year 😞

    For some comparisons Elvis grossed 3M euros, Rocketman less than 2M and Whitney 1M And then we have Bohemian Rhapsody which made 29M
