  1. I could be very very wrong but I feel like 900m China, 500m Domestic would be more likely than the inverse.
  2. Maybe they are pushing it off if they have a buyer for the studio lined up as they alluded to being possible last month: source: https://www.axios.com/pro/media-deals/2022/08/05/lionsgate-sell-studio-starz They are meant to be announcing the Starz spinoff/sale this month, so we might get more info within the next couple of weeks if they have someone who is buying the whole company. Either than that maybe debt is preventing them from funding the marketing spend and so they are pushing it back for now, which is also very possible given their financial situation hasn’t been the greatest.
  3. October 28th release for the UK apparently source: https://www.digitalspy.com/movies/a41215467/barbarian-bill-skarsga-rd-horror-movie-uk-release-date/
  4. I don't disagree but clear now they are treating streaming like cable over the internet. With little to no international programming, selling international rights in key markets, less prominence for film etc.
  5. The Emmy's ratings are awful, all time low of 6m viewers. Once you include the ESPN and ESPN2 numbers of MNF, 8m and 1.5m respectively added to the 10.3m for ABC more than 3x as many people watched MNF over the Emmy's. source: https://showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-monday-9-12-2022-top-150-cable-originals-network-finals.html
  6. If I had to guess this is most likely the UK, parts of Western Europe, Canada, Australia, NZ and India as they are markets that they would avoid as they likely get a nice payday from local distributors.
  7. Not as good as the first 3 episodes but the last 5 minutes set up some interesting elements going forward. Looking forward to next week, crazy that we will be half way through the season come next week.
  8. Trailer for this was mellow which I liked, hoping this can be a nice breezy fantasy show for people to get into after HOTD and ROP.
  9. Looks pretty dope, love the Clone Wars style animation, also shoutout to Yaddle!
  10. Yeah COVID for sure had an impact, lots of elbow bumps going on in some of the footage and yeah I think Andor will suffer from it a bit just like nearly every show/movie shot during 2020 and early 2021.
  11. Loved this behind the scenes, as someone who enjoyed the show more than most I really like to see the process behind everything. Ewan and Hayden together will always be great. Also always funny to see people blaming The Volume for certain scenes that were Blue Screen or shot on location lol, I guess at that point ILM have to take people not being able to tell as a compliment.
  12. I agree @Porthos no point in rushing out another Star Wars film announcement at this point we have had Jenkins, Johnson, Taika and even Feige working on/due to work on film/films with no real traction on any in terms of production let alone being released.
  13. Felt this episode was a significantly better episode than the first 2, felt like this was setting up were the show is headed, also feel like the visuals and music stepped it up which is impressive as those were the best aspects of last week. Rewatched the first 2 episodes a couple of days ago and I think I have managed to turn my brain off at hearing certain names (be they places, people or things) and just enjoy this show for what it is.
  14. Free stuff! Unfortunately the Nat Geo digital 6 months is only for the US and Canada. Only other thing that is global is the ShopDisney discount which there is a version of that locally, can't speak for other regions.
  15. Hopefully he plays a Sith Lord, he was an awesome villain in Deliver Us from Evil.
  16. Yeah looks good, a bit disappointed the preview is only HD but not too long of a wait for the actual show and that will have all the 4K Dolby goodness. Still far from my most anticipated Star Wars project but we have had a decent size break since Kenobi so will be checking this out as soon as it drops.
  17. I'm expecting nothing on Disney+ Day itself personally but could just be lowering my expectations. One thing is for certain they are not announcing everything Disney+ related on Disney+ Day as the panel descriptions have mention of Disney+ for example the Disney/Pixar panel: They have 3 days to announce plenty of stuff coming to Disney+ at the various panels at D23 and I imagine they will still put social posts for people that are not attending, similar to what Marvel Studios did at Comic-Con.
