"probably not so good WOM (based on critic's review)"
you mean Korean critics or RTomatoes critics?
"Eternals had everything lined up for success. not it's very unclear."
3m admits ~$25-28M I think
Hope people realise that they just overthinking too much.
Or the movie has some good factors that can create nice legs?
Speaking of legs, Did BW have good legs in SK?
hm........ I think both DS season 1 and its movie as a whole had that kind of controversy. Anyway, it is not important now.
About the Eternals movie, I think people just overthinking about it.
How is the situation there for Eternals now? Do you think Marvel fan will care about this thing much?
Now, I also want to know about one thing. Marvel movies often do very well in SK, very high numbers. Do you know it is because Marvel fanbase is that BIG in SK that it can make those big number? Or those movies also have the visit from casual/ general audiences to make those big number?
It just means that the boycott in Korea was not as intense as China which requires the redesign of the symbol in the earrings. There are definitely post and discussion and controversy in Korea about the symbol in the earrings reflect the "Rising sun" flag of Japanese army.
No, before and during the time Demon Slayer movie run in SK, there had been boycott due to Tanjiro's earring design. And at that time there was also a boycott against Japanese product by Korean people due to political conflict in trade between governments of two countries.
I think this is not a spoiler but the general idea for around the haft of the first part of the movie meantions about the rise and the collapse of human civilization through thousand years history from before BC. So that part is just some mere seconds in it without any intention to emphasize it.
I simply think the not good reviews is preventing a certain amount of people from booking ticket online and those people may come out on the weekend if the audience reception is good.
Eternals: what if people wait for the audience reaction from thursday night to decide to buy ticket online or go to the cinema and buy on the following days on weekened?
Do you think Eternals can open on the same size as BW? I know its presale is behind BW so far but considering BW is about a well known characters so I think it is more frontload?
I don't know about people in America but in my country, I think majority of casual movie goers don't care about RT, they even don't know about it. And I'm not sure if they have a habit of checking review of RT before going to the cinema to watch the movie they want.
