Not the same genre....the only point i have is how LOW the views are given it's the first superhero movie of the rock. Expected more tbf...I really had this performing more than TB....not sure now.

Aquaman 1st trailer has 64m views.....black adams 1st doesn't even 10+m

Yhyh black adam is going to do way more business than TSS but all it's metric are so LOW.....i thought even with the rock it would do like GOOD like at least 10+M views already on twitter and youtube...but NO. It's strange.

Furthermore to say DC can't create any hype to the big marvel flicks is just absurd. Look at joker nearly 100m views on youtube (trailer) when that joker 2 trailer lands it's going to be huge......and if (which they won't) make a batman/joker crossover (Joaquin) movie it will do GANGBUSTERS......the bad thing about the DCEU it's really far behind. It just needs good consistency from it's movies to have the ingrained hype of the mcu

Tbf previous batman movies were sequels. WB just need more sequel movies like when joker 2 comes out that should do great numbers, same with aquaman 2. It's the start off standalone ones that are in trouble.

Doesn't only huge event MCU movies make a billion without china ? the only who broke the mould was BP....can't think of any other. Heck even DCEU movies are the same lool it seems china plays a huge role in getting movies past the bill threshold

You can shove all mcu characters into a movie but as long the title of the movie is that of one character it's a "solo" movie looool "solo" movies have lost all their meaning.
