Their focus wasn't clear. They should have focused on Captain America, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Shang-Chi, Spider-Man, and Black Panther in Phase 4. They have made some unnecessary movies in Phase 4. BW, Eternals, and Thor4 could have been a D+ special presentation or a series. BW existed just to setup Yelena as the lead of Thunderbolts, and Thor4 existed to setup the Hercules movie and Valkyrie series. Because of these unnecessary movies, Phase 4 looks weak and bad.

I would say most people who talk about Captain Marvel being boosted by Endgame ignore other examples, some out of ignorance and some because they only dislike or hate Captain Marvel out of all these characters. We'll rarely find a 1-page post on how BP was boosted by Infinity War and DS2 was boosted by IW and NWH (I don't know if anyone has ever made a 1-page post on this), but this is common for Captain Marvel.

BP was directly connected to Infinity War(1st part of culmination of Infinity Saga), there was an entire Wakanda war scene in Infinity War trailer. DS2 was boosted by both Infinity War & NWH. But no, we ignore all these and only talk about a female MCU movie's success. I wonder why?

ATWOW was released in December, the movie's success has nothing to do with MCU's seemingly growing fatigue. Saying ATWOW succeeded because of MCU fatigue is like saying The Force Awakens succeeded because of MCU fatigue. As far as Maverick is concerned, we won't get movies like Maverick each year, which click with republicans, and its success also had nothing to do with MCU's seemingly growing fatigue.

If MCU falls, DCU will rise, as people won't stop watching superhero movies and shows. So my question is: Is DCU new blood to you in the blockbuster landscape?

I think MoM should be the best quorum comp for QM if it gets B+ cinemascore like MoM(which was close to A- than B). With B+ score and 70% final awareness DS2 did 411M, so QM with current 48% awareness should be sitting at 281M +/-5%, it would need 56-60% final awareness to come close to 350M. Just my calculation.

There is a resistance to accepting change and an unwillingness to accept her as the lead character in a section (I don't know whether they are small in numbers or large) of MCU fandom. I've noticed them on Marvel Reddit forums and other social media platforms. I don't know what exactly Feige is going to do with the character, but there are enough indications that she'll be the main lead or one of the main leads in KD and SW.

The tone of the next Avengers movie will be set by the characters who'll lead that movie, and that's The Marvels, Captain America: NWO, and hopefully Spider-Man 4. Ant-Man is no Batman & Kang is no Superman of MCU. This movie's importance is what the Thor(2021) movie had before The Avengers(2012).
