  1. :rofl:I know what you mean. It took me a while to figure out how to beat that game back then
  2. Preordered the Titanic Collector's Edition 4 pack (with other stuff thrown in as well)
  3. Oh this must be the part where Ralphie goes blind from soap poisoning
  4. Nah, it can be done very simply, just take all the Rocky songs that have words and list them over and over until you get to 100
  5. Yeah we do tend to have the same thoughts a lot :PThanks for the compliment about the movie knowledge. Movies have always been a big thing in my life. I have seen more movies than almost everyone I know combined I was going to try to do something in movies in some way for a job. I even did radio and voiceovers to try to get in. You definitely have a lot of knowledge yourself and I appreciate someone that has been around for the same time period so can appreciate the same tastes.Maybe our knowledge is just that we are the old fogeys on the boards
  6. Another classic and perfect film for its genre. Basically an action horror movie. All the guys are trying to outdo each other the whole time which gives it that ultra-macho vibe. Good effects and a decent story too.Love this movie"if it bleeds, we can kill it"A
  7. Same here. I guess the marketing just isn't doing a good job of showing what is good about the film. I was always going to see it, but with the trailers, I wasn't expecting much. But maybe it is better than I originally thought
  8. wow, I couldn't get past the first movie and now there will be 5 of them. If i want to start catching up, I better start soon
  9. Hmmm..must be a slow day here then with just only 7 people losing their marbles
  10. September 29th at 9:30 am eastern
  11. Very tough call as I like so many of these movies, but I went with Man on Fire
  12. Pretty much sums up how I feel about both movies you mentioned TIH is ok, but really wasn't much there. For me, it is easily the weakest of the Marvel movies leading up to the Avengers. B-
  13. This is the only horror film that really stayed with me for years. Just the music would creep me out for the longest time. I am sure it stayed with me due to it being a childhood memory type fear, but still I have a friend that still can't watch the movie with the sound on or at night time. I don't have to add much to what baumer said. It's truly a classic. Easily an A
  14. I don't throw around Fs here a lot. I may have done it like once or twice, but this easily is on that list.Other than Danielle Harris, there is nothing redeeming about this film at all.I get what ddddeee is saying, and I appreciate his opinion and glad he likes it. But for me, just being different is not a reason for a film to be good. Someone could make a 2 hour movie of a guy taking a dump into a bucket the whole time and that would be different, but it doesn't make it good. Plus I don't think this movie is any different than a lot of the bad horror crap that is out there.F
  15. I didn't go into this movie with a lot of hope and unfortunately, the movie made me glad that is how I went in.Baumer put it exactly right. When he tried to give Michael Myers a reason to be who he is or even try to make him a sympathetic character, the movie just went to crap. While I can give Zombie some credit for trying to be different, that doesn't make it a good movie or even something worthwhile to make. Different doesn't always mean good.D+
  16. Definitely one of the better horror remakes, if not the best. That may not be saying much, but it is still good. While I don't have it as high as some others on here, it is still pretty good.B maybe B+
  17. the mini-gun from Predator. It was the first time I saw something like that
  18. Yeah 5 was close for me, but there are as many movies I have less than zero desire to see as there are movies I want to see so it kind of cancelled it out.
  19. Oh i use that movie all the time. I figured I was the only one that knew the movie as well "my mother hung me on a hook once....once"
